I love this! Do they dry for 24 hours? Also, I am very unsuccessful in tying stretchy string. It always comes apart and we lose our beads. Is there a quick way of tying or a favorite brand? ❤️
Hi! They do not have to dry, this clay has to be cooked at 275 for about 20 minutes at this size piece. They do harden up for 24 hours after cooking but I was able to string these immediately after they cooled.
For string my kids and I enjoy using this silver cord. The silver exterior helps lock the knot where other clear strings are so slippery they need glue or a metal clasp you crimp over the knot. That’s a bit hard for my kids. This is the cord link although I’m still working on the best way to hide the ends! Thinking a larger hole for one bead and slide it inside with a bit of glue. amzn.to/3iFq3Pi
