    Love your vlogs! Was going to skip my workout today because I wasn't feeling intense cardio but instead decided to do a booty burn workout with bands and weights. I actually really enjoyed the workout and needed the reminder that just because you aren't drenched in sweat doesn't mean it wasn't a good workout.

    Literally everything you said about yoga, I’ve been trying to put into words myself. I want to go, and don’t regret it after but certain poses I’m like I hate this. Especially downward dog 😂

    There are workouts such as HIIT, lots of cardio, running, etc that can spike your cortisol levels and be less effective. Practicing yoga, Pilates, barre, etc are less stressful on your body and do not increase those cortisol levels aa well as the hormones.
    One of the reasons that I love practicing yoga is the slowing down, being mindful and intentional, listening to your body.. it puts me in a good headspace… The mind body connection is crucial.
    I find getting up early easier if I practice some quick breath work, making affirmations, and/or practicing a quick 5 minute meditation in bed.

    I’m the same way with yoga, ESPECIALLY downward dog. 😹 It’s like I have to force myself to enjoy it. I’d much rather spin or run so maybe I’ll try out Pilates too. So happy you’re doing vlogmas. You’re one of my number one motivators right now! 🤍
