If you are allowed to... change the lock on your bedroom to a numerical keypad lock. You can always put the old lock back on when you move out. The keypad will prevent you from locking yourself out if you forget the keys. I highly recommend the Clorox Toilet Wand. I wipe off the part of the wand that was in the toilet with a disinfectant wipe after I eject the used scrubbing pad.
