Exactly! I raise hair sheep and when the girls are well fed, I get a few litters of lambs, lol - If Lucy continues to be well fed, she may be able to produce enough milk to get them old enough for the rumen to start working.... Those fawns are just adorable! Thanks for sharing!
@@beaupeep i used to breed Boxers and a month before she went into heat i would make food for her. I breed her 3 times and she had 10, 12 and 14 pups and only lost 4 all together so good food definitely helps. A friend breed boxers and the most pups she had was 7

When you are a witness of the miracle of birth, no matter if it's an animal or human, the feeling you get is so heart warming that there is no doubt in my mind that HE is still in charge. This is the best thing on TH-cam right now. Lucy is a great momma from the moment she delivered. She has had a major life changing experience. I wish everyone well. So cool to hear Houston and Daniel have been over.
One tech tip, the words on the screen were really too small to read. Watching them was more interesting. If folks don't know you and Chris and your bests intentions, they do now. Hugs to everyone and prayers for the babies.
Tech tip. If they'd made bigger lettering they'd have more tech tips that nobody could see the babies. I'd say he did an excellent job.

How beautiful. You folks seem like humble people. Mother Nature, never disappoints. & she’s a good mama. Our fawn died as she’d been sickly & something happened to the mama. Couldn’t leave her alone, we’ve Catahoula hounds, if they get loose. Our Vet said, we did what we could do for her. You’ve a new subbie. Mahalo Nui-Marie 🙏🏼🙏🏼🌺
God is good. She missed having her babies on my Mom's birthday she passed away in 2014 at the age 81. She had a form of dementia. She loved deers. She would of loved seeing them. Omg Lucy is such a good mommy. Glad you were there for her to protect them until they are bigger. Be so fun to watch them grow up. Thanks Jimmy. Love watching your channel. Grandma of 11 grandkids 😁❤

I was in. WV. A mother deer was hit by a car. She had given birth. We stopped I picked him uhe was still wet. We started him on whole milk.. He got the scourers. Someone told us to give him goat's milk. He really took to it. He did really well. He would play with our dog. He would get my boys down and suck on their ear lobes till one was bigger than the other. We had a pen for him at night. A game warden came Bambi was out in the yard. He told us that if he had of been in the pen he would of fined us. He was concerned because he was a buck come rutting season he could become mean. When he got a little bigger we took him back way up in the woods where we found him and let him go. It broke my heart. I cried. I knew he was meant to be free. We watched him walk into the trees and brush. They are beautiful. Ty for sharing. Brings back find memories

We will put him outside the high fence during the rut The Ranger was right, they can be dangerous during the rut! Even a smaller buck. They are sure easy to love! Thanks. May God Bless! jimmy

When I came into my mother in law's house I said maw I got you something. I opened my coat he stuck his little head out and made that lil sqweaking noise he had her and Paps hearts. She found a big old black nipple stuck it on a bottle and he went to town. She to cried when we let him go. Even tho he pert near ate all her putunias. Lol. Pap he didn't care followed him around the yard like a puppy would. He had the run of the house. Hop up on the sofa lay his head on paps lap both sound asleep. You take care be safe and love them lil fur babies as I am sure you will. 🦌

I'm not sure, but I've heard that does only feed their young during the day. It's because predators move at night and they (mom) don't want to bring their sent a around the fawns. That's why they lick so much to stay sent free.
I've been watching tiny little triplets grow up almost daily in WI lately. They're by one of the cranberry growers fields. So tiny the first time I saw all 3.
