      He needed more of a Kevin Garnett/Tim Duncan than Kobe though. Stoudemire despite his super star performance with the Suns, was no rebounder or defender.

    Nash was a pretty good passer, I wouldn't exactly say hes a pass first player though. More of a dunker in my opinion.

    When I did Passes like this, I got bench. Coach said I was wild and nobody knows when I'm passing which is why they drop some many passes. This is why I loved Nash, he made it work.

    He may not be considered the best point guard of all time (at least I consider him the best and my favorite player) but no one can deny that he is the most artistic and unique passer of all time. His assist are beyond awesome

    Such an incredible player. Not very athletic, or strong, or tall, but has the most unbelievable skill and talent and literally made the suns competitors by himself.

      First time I ever saw him play or heard of him, I asked my boyfriend "who is that little guy? He's amazing". But you're right, he's only "little" in comparison to the 6'9" behemoths.

    Effective coaching makes this possible. D'Antoni coached the players to stay in their spots or rotate in certain ways. Nash knew where all of his teammates were. Look again at the corner 3s. They're waiting for the ball.
    Once I saw Nash throw a blind pass to the corner and there was nobody there. He was furious. He was like Tom Brady when a receiver blows a route.

      Iniesta never was known for shooting though guys. For somebody who shot 50 40 90 for 3 seasons I'd say this man is more like a Ronaldino with a longer prime and a little less flair.

    Wow bringing back some those MVP passes the suns were a real show entertaining high paced basketball sweet dishes, alley oop dunks 3 pointers all over the place & they were definitely responsible for speeding up the league over the years you've seen a lot of small ball & that was there thing It was Steve Nash that made teams realize how important the point guard position was in the modern day era opening the doors for the point guards of the future to be drafted higher than they usually were WOW

    Remember when the NBA was fun? I remember. I fell in love with basketball during the Seven Seconds or Less era. I hope it makes a comeback, but I don't hold much hope given the current generation of NBA players.

    steve nash announced his retirement, surely one of the best to not win a ring. Nash and stoudemire was easily one of the most enjoyable duos in the league. The last of a dying breed, pg's today into scoring more than traditional pg play.
