    As an Overseas Registered Nurse, there are 2 types of Exams to be Qualified as a General Nurse in Ireland- RCSI Aptitude Exam and Adaptation Program.

    Did you get to choose dialysis unit for your adaptation or was it a general ward you were put in for the adaptation?

    Hi,pwede po ba mag ask,may kakilala ka ba na na extend yung decision letter,kasi parang di pa po ako mapunta dyan due to personal matters,yung decision ko po lumabas last april,salamat po

      Hi! During the pandemic na extend ang nga Decision Letter but now, im not sure if it is still applicable. Normally, the DL is valid for 12 months from the date of issue 😀

    Can you pls tell me which hospital or center you are working.. I am looking for a center or hospital to apply as a hemodialysis nurse.. i am having a hard time.looking for one. Most ads are for gen. Ward, OR or other areas but no dialysis..

      Hi! Im working in Tallaght University Hospital. You can check the website of CPL healthcare, they have opening for TUH Renal/ Hemodialysis Units! They will be conducting interviews on July! 😀

    Can I travel with my family for adaptation period??
    How much they pay for this period??

      I went here with my other batch mates. For the adaptation period you will be on a Student rate. Then once you pass it, you will be paid on a Registerer Nurse Scale 😀

    Is there no OSCE? Only adaption method Mam?

      Hi Lakshman! They do have the RCSI which is similar to OSCE. You can either do the Adaptation or OSCE- it depends on your employer or hospital 😀

    Hi maam, ask ko lang po regarding sa uniform during adaptation? Dyan nyo po ba binili or ngpatahi na kayo bfore pmunta dyan? Thank you maam.

      Hi Joanne! It would be better that you buy your uniform before coming here. I bought mine back in Pinas! The uniform im saying is for the Adaptation Period which is a standard white top and dark blue pants. For the HD uniform, they provide us with scrubs here! 😀

      Hi Daryl! 37.5hours per week. We work 3 Long Days (12hours) a week and every other month we have (1) one- 4 Long Days 😀

      Hi! Usually nauuna muna ang applicant then sumusunod ang family after 6 months, based ito sa mga co workers ko na may family sa Pinas. Ngayon, magkaka sama na sila ng family niya dito 😀

      Hi Ruuz! For Adaptation you will be paid on a student rate scheme, once you pass it then you’ll get the nurses rate 😀
