- The London Toy Fair (January 21st-23rd) offered an exclusive sneak peek at Hasbro and Playmates' highly anticipated "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Re-Action" toy line, based on the 1993 series. While photography was prohibited, leaked information suggests a comprehensive collection featuring 5-inch articulated figures of the original Rangers and iconic villains like Rita Repulsa and Goldar. Separately sold, combinable Zords mirroring Playmates' Voltron approach are also planned, potentially with a combined Zord release. Roleplay items and larger figures are also in the works, expanding beyond a children's line to include collector-oriented action figures. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments! What makes me most excited about this, is having another shot at getting a retail-priced version of the Titanus, which, will hopefully be compatible with the Lightening Collection Megazord & Dragonzord.
Would be cool if we got a lord Zedd and Rita staff and black and yellow helmets
I wish that Playmates will make more of the Power Rangers toys of different seasons
I wish they all make different season toys
From a monetary standpoint, it doesn’t really make financial sense to make figures from other seasons without a main focus on MMPR. Licensing agreements are only for a finite amount of time, typically about 2-4 years with the opportunity to extend the contract. Playmates is essentially only loaned the Power Rangers license and outside Power Rangers Samurai of all seasons thanks to its marketing it never really regained the cultural impact past mighty morphin so a lot of it comes down to the pop culture zeitgeist. If they owned the franchise, that may be a different story. I myself do remember that in 2010 when the primary focus was mighty morphin, they had some of the best figures because everything was sort of streamlined. I myself am just excited for more affordable figures outside the high end collectibles that are currently on the market and excited to see PR back on retail store shelves.
Whether people want to admit it or not, MMPR sells! of course they’re go with the safest route first before they decide to dive deeper into later Power Ranger shows
@@Soundwave0fKaon93 It does sell actually it's the only season that sells they ain't even bring back the 3 season of mighty Morphin to sell it's only the regular Dino megazords and the regular action figures
That ain't happening lol
I'm interested to see what the monster's look like
Sorry, I have been busy for a long time and I have been dealing with family problems but this is fantastic news and I’m so glad to hear that they are releasing a new Power Rangers toy line with some different figures! That’s terrific news. I hope we will hear about the collectors’ line as well, real soon. Looking forward to more videos. I promise to tune in more often this year. Things are getting better now and I’m proud to still be a fan club follower!
I hope playmates Dragonzord can combine with Hasbro's 2020 Megazord.
Please it time to Bring back The Original Mighty Morphin POWER RANGERS in 2025
1. pink Rangers

@@RaquelFuentes-vf7kz awesome 👍😎
Yes, exactly and hopefully it’ll save the show.
Don't get to dreams up
I hope so too.
@@christophergomez2016 they never once bring back a season from the Disney season and they never want to bring back a season from the Neo Saban era The only type of toys they ever bring back is mighty morphin
I hope they will make Power Rangers Morphers later
If they get the the proportions right, this may save me from having to track down the shf figures. 🤔🤔
Morphinominal 🙂😎 Could we see Post MMPR teams get the Playmates Toys treatment? 😁
Hope you can touch on those teddy bears that are part wolf!
I hope playmates will release power rangers Morphers maybe a green ranger dragon dagger toy
I have to say the Hell with MMPR for me and stuck with the zyurangers even with Nostalgia it just dosent hold up for me. Zyurangers is by far a way better show that hits me in every emotion level I want out of a franchise
5 inch Playmates…..the worst news we could get imo besides not getting anything at all. Playmates is fun with TMNT but, 1/12 6 inch is the “scale” Jada Toys lost a lot of money on this one lol.
iam looking foward for the flametoys megazords
The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers theme is being repurposed for a toyline. At least it's something to keep the brand alive until Hasbro resumes production for Power Rangers. So playmates will make 5 in figures. Along with 12 in figures posable but it's a prediction.
Gonna assume they meant putty patroller for dough boy.
Can anyone guess what's going to happen in next mighty Morphin line I mean after this one end
i hope we FINALLY get a new version of the Power Blaster
I can't wait to get power rangers toys this year
All I’m going to say is if these figures aren’t 6inch and similar in sculpt and design with lightning collection figures this will do poorly…
He just said they were gonna be 5 inch figures, but that’s just the main line. there’s also gonna be a collector lime, which will likely be around the lightning collections height…designs however, is something that will have to wait and see
@@Soundwave0fKaon93 the issue with a 5in main line is the core collectors/fans are set in the 6/6.5 inch range so anything over or under will just perform poorly and they will use that as excuse to say the line has no interest
@@maxamillonstudios I honestly don’t see a problem, maybe with other manufacturers that might’ve been an issue… but Playmates ain’t exactly no stranger to making multiple lines with different scaling for most toylines. take their TMNT line for example, they’ve been doing their retro figure line for a few years now which is around the 4-5 inch mark, while they have also done a collector line that is roughly along the 6 inch mark-granted, they haven’t done those in a while…but they will occasionally make some crossover sets that are roughly around that same height, among other scaled figures. Point is, when it comes to variety…Playmates usually never misses the mark.
I'm guessing Dough Boy is Putties. Saw another translation that used the word mass so they all seem to have a material and group type word in them so think it's the Putty Patroller.
I can't decide who plant monster is. I wonder if it's Pumpkin Rapper because he is popular and maybe they're sticking to more humanoid shapes that would take less time to develop? Would love Spit Flower but maybe the body shape is too much to do for single figure. Also Octoplant but not as well known as Pumpkin Rapper. Not sure if Season 2 monsters would be used yet even though Lord Zedd is there so doubt it would be Bloom of Doom or Terror Blossom.
My intention is to buy all villains and monsters of the week first especially if they're returning to deluxe sized monsters like back in the 90s. I've always wanted something scaled to Megazord size because whats a Megazord for if no villains to fight it.
i hate that were goin back to 5' figures, wish we stuck with 6 for a little while longer
Or even bigger, like Super7, just sticking with them cause of the monsters.
Will be original release
C'mon Playmates, do we REALLY need to start with Mighty Morphin again?!? There are nearly 30 years of seasons!!!
Given that it’s not only the most popular of the Power Rangers seasons, but alao the safest place to start from a business standpoint…of course it was gonna begin there. gotta work their way up before deciding to expand towards later PR seasons
Mighty Morphin sells thats why
I'm so deep with the Lightning collection that if it doesn't fit in with that, I'm not interested.
Allegedly part of Playmates deal with Hasbro is they may have to continue it if demand is there.
@AtticusRh0des fingers crossed. It'd be nice to fill in the gabs Hasbro never got to
I can see the monsters fitting in, but the figures are not gonna be like Lightning, look at their Turtles line.
No more Mighty Morphin. I want them to finish the Lightning Collection.
Ultimate Super Ultra Cool Awesomness 😎👍
I hope they make power rangers plushies
Not Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese
wow im stupid. Thanks bro!
