So interesting matter, Master. Everything you said was correct, but for novice welders, *If it was me who explains it to them,** I would have done more emphasis about the melted material being what contracts even if the heat it's the cause. 7:20 But that drawing was a creative way to explain it. The heat itself can warp it, but more than the cold base material being expanded by the heat and then contracting, it's the base material that melts and the filler material that you apply melted what shrinks the most when solidifies. Therefore, the amount of filler material that you apply melted on each single layer (applying a lot of filler on one pass and making a gross layer) it's what would have the most warping effect. Again, more than the solid material being heated and cooled, it's about the melted material solidifying. Cheers from Spain, HAGOJIBI.
My dream is to one day be at this level of welding I'm already a qualified Tig and Mag welder, but I just started in the industry Your videos help ALLOT and so many tips help to expand my knowledge on welding
You are really professional. Thank you, teacher. I am from the Middle East. Can I ask you to teach us the symbols and techniques of welding machines, perhaps by explaining a welding technique, ordinary welding, etc... provided that you explain it to your welding machine and explain to us what is written on it, especially what is written on the plate, because I do not know what the intent is And a lot of welders like me, thanks again
Thank you for informative content.😎 Drawing the grids and then showing how the metal expanded and shinked was very insightful. Drawing concept and then showing it in practice helps a lot! How about making a follow-up video on how to prevent deformations, maybe show us some experienced welder's tricks? Thanks again!
Great explanation, and please more videos about thermal deformation! After all, even if your beads are good but piece is not 100% straight, then payment is not 100% full... 😢
Awesome… very beautiful 👌 thanks for sharing my friend 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Controlling 16 gauge stainless steel deformation for 10 feet weld is important for many welders.
Changing directions and backstepping. Good video.
Deformations are the most important topic. Looking forward to the next video about deformations.

Thanks , tutorial maestro
Super tuto sur la déformation .
Merci
Great video. Other Day, the solución

Very interested too ❤
Thank you.MASTER.
I'm trying to learn Korean but is really hard. Thank you for another great video.

good
What kind of pad are you using in 4:40 minute? How is possible that the pad doesn’t melt into the weld?
You can use an aluminum or copper backing to weld steel and they will not mix/adhere under normal conditions.
Yes, we really lack this explanation for the machine that works with a pulse and so on
🙂👍
