I feel like it'd be fun to see everyone actually have a good faith build competition with no steam workshop. It's fun to use precon models to learn the game, but I think it'd be really fun to give everyone some time to mess around with the building and see how they do.

That isn't as bad in my opinion given that the Eastern Roman Empire, the Byzantines only fell in the 15th century, so actually closer than you might expect to the 18th century, you mentioned. On top of that, WW1 and WW2 are much closer to today, so they should be better known, especially because they're usually such big topics in history. Not to mention, he's from one of the nations involved, so I imagine it's thought even more so.

@azrael_hypo Well, the Red Baron is an important figure in the story of WW1 for Germany being a fighter ace, and the fact that aircraft is only newly coming into a military role makes that something significant. Not to mention, you'll absolutely be able to spot the difference between a WW1 and a WW2 plane if you've had education on those topics because you'll be able to tell a bi/triplane apart from the later much more recognisable plane structures/designs of the second world war. I wouldn't necessarily expect them to know the makes/models such as a zero, supermarine spitfire, etc...

So if you included the "Fifth Beatle", you'd end up with probably over a dozen people on top of that submarine altogether.
This map even reminds me of one of the Gmod race/build maps they did, don't remember which one but there were a bunch of hangars and each team got one to build in.
I definitely feel like they should do a triathlon (drive, fly, swim), and each team needs to build at least 2/3 of their team, but can choose to do all 3 instead. They have to switch out between the stages, and each lap has a few sections of each type
Can we do this again maybe just a single vehicle with more build time where you actually have to build it, and work out all the problems that come with that. Or just this again is cool too

It started with HarvesteR and his brother Moach. It's pretty neat, has the signature KSP jankiness but the multiplayer is worth it alone
