For the firing the most likelihood according to the statistics to generate....may be the KS test on the trials,LS test,the ranking based on the direct variables then the Mann Whitney U and other signed may be a great chance to reach H0.

No.. there is a slight difference . The statistic ( t ) which we used to estimate is known as estimator . ( Say we are estimating theta ) . Now some value of t which is estimating theta is known as estimate of theta .
