Andrei Eshpai Андрей Эшпай Concerto for Oboe and Orchestra (1982)

Andrei Eshpai was a Russian composer. A Red Army World War II veteran, he studied piano at Moscow Conservatory from 1948 to 1953 under Vladimir Sofronitsky, and composition under Nikolai Rakov, Nikolai Myaskovsky and Evgeny Golubev. He performed his postgraduate study under Aram Khachaturian from 1953 to 1956.

I like a lot this beautiful concerto with many different types of sounds which let think of jazz and very contemporal orchestration. You belong very much to that kind of avant-garde music. Es ist sehr schoen Maria. You are of a great talent.
