For the flares they have different purposes
Green, black and red: self explanatory
Yellow: objective marker
Ex. Stage 10 i found the Dina Titan. I shot the flare to mark it so the attack can find it
Purple: Marks yourself. Very useful when grabbed or need basic necessities (low on gas/blades/heals)
Blue: Finds nearby carts. Useful in most expedition stages because players hide there carts so warriors don't find and destroy them

I dont see black being all that useful compared to red why would i want to find only abnormals when i can use the red flare and it marks up every titan including abnormals

1 think, for arm cut counter you need to do the V, or its a automatic counter

Yeah, because 4/4 have effect when you attack, and you enemy can see when you using attack and counter it more easily. 3/4 dont have any effect so its harder to counter

If sanity low it makes your screen more dark, adding screen shake and removes your ability to run, ig it all applies when sanity lower then 20% or 30%
