This is one of my first dnb track, when I was 14 or 15 I've found it recorded on some old tape between English learning lessons. Journey was stared here, never forget

I was watching the movie "red dragon" today. It's crazy how the mind works. I heard that line "you wanna know how he chooses them, dont you", and this song immediately came to mind. I heard this song before i ever saw the movie
@@tim-williams I haven't watched the movie the sample is from, but I always interpreted it as someone trying to understand the depravity of another person. Say, a serial killer. The person explaining asks the person who is trying to understand "You want to know how he chooses them, don't you?" referring to the killer's victims.
I remember buying this album. What a blast. Unfortunately I can't find such great dnb these days. I suck at searching. But maybe the world of present dnb scene sucks.
yes SEBA is the god of liquid/jungle.. but its not the same kind of dnb... this perfect mix of darkness and melody BSE once made is gone forever...@@franciscomartin1208
it doesn't sucks, you're right that you are bad at searching, but unfortunately i cannot recommend anything to you, because we have a different tastes/preferences and views on what is a good dnb and what is a bad dnb (i don't like the majority of BSE tracks, they're either has terrible loops or too boring/too long with the same melody and beats). Anyway, i will leave some of dnb artists i know, just in case, maybe you will find something you like amongst their discography: Tom Finster, False Noise, blednost., Sewerslvt, goreshit, usedcvnt, Joe Ford, Function Phantom, VINXIS, kedy_selma, Parhelia, Equinox7, Nyteout, Symbiotik Records (Label), MUZZ, Boxplot, Duoscience, Rameses B, Нейромонах Феофан, High Tea Music (Label), Magnetude
bse I seen them so many times I feel so lucky that I was alive for this and being able to listen this in my teenager years. aww someone sell me a time machine please 😂💜
I cant sell you a time machine but I have the original on vinyl for the right price? Trying to raise some money to get my little boy a good Xmas present. B-side banger aswell, Acid flood by JADE and someone. .
I forgot about this masterpiece for.. 8-9 years or something just fell over it on spotify again, yessssssssssssssssshhh. Crazy nostalgia goosebumps from listening to this again!
That weird, spooky pad in the slower parts of the mix really reminds me of the spooky background music in in the Hue City scenes in Full Metal Jacket. Never managed to find out if that's where the sample is from.
Your the empire of the black sun..so deep, powerfull and shadowy, but you enlighting my days more and more. thats a perfect example of dark embracing light and light embracing darkness.
i was listening to this while watching Close Call Compilation - Near Death experiences and more usually there is a slight essence of synchronicity but in this moment it was happening all the time. god bless dnb
is there any recent music like this album? i never got deep into neurofunk or w/e but i love this album so much since 08...dunno where to go from here though.

Funny how it works for different people. For me this is deep meaning about how God chooses in the end times.
Same thing just happened to me now. Heard this song years ago and as soon as he spoke that line I was searching for this song.

не так ли?
Pretty sure the eerie sound is from Uncharted 2
uncharted 2 release date is 2009, this came out before then. maybe the same preset on a synth or something.
No, it's from older Hitman games by Jesper Kyd. Hong Kong Themes.
i cant stop mishearing the guy saying "you wanna know how i eat some shrooms" wtf is the guy saying?
It's a line Anthony Hopkins says to Edward Norton in the film "The Red Dragon"
actually the line is "You wanna know how he's choosing them, dont't you?" and it really is from The Red Dragon.
