im here after some dude (posted on reddit), jumped into like 1 foot of water from a 4-5meter high roof and probably broke his tailbone after going feet first...lol

I hope Greg Davies is suitable embarrassed about ridiculing Daisy Mae Cooper on Taskmaster. Saying that this couldn't have happened and suggesting she was stupid & making it up.
As for not being a dive as someone on here claimed. It was never going to be Olympics standard but he did dive from that diving board. How he landed was irrelevant.

Lol, Guess I’m not the only one who wanted to double check that claim…

I mean, if the mat wasn't there, he'd definitely break every bone in his body. And die. But, having factored those minor details in, I do absolutely agree with you that it is irrelevant whether there was a mat or not.

dude its got a 2' matt below it.

Wouldn't be so easy without the mat underneath.

it’s obvious you don’t understand what’s happening here. if it’s so easy with the mat then you do it.

@@SpiritofPoisonThis was 10 years so it's a bit out of nowhere, but I was probably thinking that the mat adds a bit of cushioning and spring to the water pool. If it's not important why have it there at all and instead just sit the pool on direct concrete

@@FatBoySlim696 I’m glad you responded lol. how does it feel seeing a comment you made so long ago? also i’m sure the mat is there just in case he does mess up. if he did and there wasn’t anything there to help him not take so much damage then it wouldn’t be a great thing to show on tv lol.

@@SpiritofPoison Why are you telling him he's wrong when you have no idea why the mats are there? The diver has been quoted as saying the mats are required for him to do the trick for cushioning the landing. Guinness does not allow the pool to be inflated, so he uses mats to cushion the blow instead.

I am a former GB diver albeit 30 years ago but I cannot quite understand how the amount of water is so little but I do remember my dad (the Scottish and British coach) seeing these videos and saying it’s a surprisingly small amount of water used to land in a 10m dive about 1.5 meters so these guys have clearly mastered a technique of spreading the impact and I have not seen the Greg Davis quote but presumably he doubts the man in this video
Anyway I ain’t no scientist but think it’s possible. Cheers

How about lets remove the mat? Then that will be a record.
