It's kinda sad how everyone forgot about this band and don't even know all the fuckshit that happened behind the scene to cause the breakup. Definitely one of the shadier band breakups when u see what actually happened

@@Thanadeez the guitarist broke up to do his side project called "victims aren't we all" which completely flopped. I guess behind the scene Johnny B (the guitarist) was in control of the entire band's Twitter accounts and was mad controlling over what he thought was his. Apparently an argument broke out and he kicked everyone out and that's all we know to this date. Apparently also the singer was struggling with a heroine addiction and was pissed that Johnny told the public without asking him first.
@@Thanadeez somehow too the bands streams increased over five times since the band broke up which makes no sense they went from 300k monthly listeners to 1.6 million since breakup

@@Thanadeez not really. V.A.W.A was pulling numbers similar to debut days of Get Scared, maybe even better, when it first came out. It didn't maintain the hype tho. I still listen to V.A.W.A and Get Scared but V.A.W.A more.

Sarcasm was the first song i heard from them so then I had a Get scared marathon after that they were my favorite band and Sarcasm was my favorite song so i was so sad when I found out that they broke up in 2019 🖤

The chorus especially invokes this sense of the protagonist racing against all odds to try and save someone, even though it looks like they won't make it. Inspired me to write small scene based around that image
