Garry is in my top ten of my favorite video game characters. I love his brotherly love towards Ib and his overall caring attitude. His character design is great too gives a but of mystery to his character as well. Ib overall is a great game with cool visuals, puzzles, and characters.
This game is full of little details that make it great! Like how garry's theme is so acoustic you can hear the person playing it, while mary's sounds more like a midi, contrasting between them being *Spoilers* real and fake people.
Is it normal that I fangirl every time I hear this or Memory? CUZ IB IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE THE BEST FRIKKIN GAME EVER. THE PLOT WAS GREAT AND THE ENDINGS WERE FRIKKIN AWESOME. I liked Sacrifice cuz then I got to see Garry tear up. :3 HES SO KAWAII
When I listen to this it sounds like a story. A loved one was lost. Gone. Disappeared from the world, and no one could find him/her. Another person tried everything to find him/her, looked high and low, across the world's ocean and land, but couldn't find the loved one. He finally gave up and died where he had his last precious moment were held with the loved one. Men carried the exhausted dead man to his funeral, where others have gathered to mourn over his pointless journey. Melancholic people gathered around the poor corpse. Within a few minutes people left and within another couple of minutes, the field of the dead was deserted but one single person stood above the dead man's coffin. The rain poured, making the corpse seem to cry from betrayal. The loved one smiled an evil smile and said "You fool. You took all that useless time to find the one you adore. Now you are lying in the bed you fear of forever sleeping in." The loved one chuckled and vanished from the cruel world the we call reality.
Corpse party needed a remake to start being good. The original was pretty naff in my opinion while Ib was singularly a fantastic game. Infact, if you look up Corpse party you get hardly anything on the original.
Sachiko Gomez the only thing where ib is better than corpse party is in the video... the soundtrack of ib is... butiful but corpse party is better in the history and the "horror" and the voice acting is really good (sorry for my bad english)

Exactly. I admire the people who feel brave enough to write down these random pixelated comments, because others might find it confusing, or just plain weird. I also admire the ones who can understand it, such as myself. At least, I hope. I think about the other things in life. But personally, I feel that Ib is a very lonely child, with only her parents and no other siblings. She probably doesn't have many friends at school, and that's sort of where Gary and Mary come in. Gary is like the older brother she had never, and will never, have. He's protective, cares deeply for her and seems to know a lot about the world. Mary, however, is like a quirky, funny sister, or even a friend. She likes joking around, playing games, and is very childish and would be fun to be around. So, friends or family? I guess after the whole experience, Ib trusted Gary more than her own mother, which is quite rare for a 9-year old. I know when I was 9, I wouldn't have gone with either of them, but I guess I have a very soft spot for both Gary and Mary. They're so interesting and understandable in their own way. Again, sorry for my own ramble, and I hope that someone else will find these 2 comments and make it into three.

@@bluesupernova well hello there person from an old comment I made, it's really kind of you to have actually wanted to know my reasoning :> at the time I believe I hated him because everybody loved him, and the fact that I didn't have a caring older brother figure that cared about me like Garry made me feel very bitter and jealous towards the pair for awhile I related the most to Mary for my own reasons, and didn't realize how toxic she was as a character I still have a soft spot for her now, but I don't hate Garry nearly as much, 'cause he's a good character from a very iconic game
Garry is such a lovely guy, really. Especially because he is someone you could also meet in real life, by accident, just like Ib did.
