I can't decide on whether or not I should do a fairing - this is my first bike with no windscreen and I'm loving it. 2020 LRS silver - I really don't want to get rid of the barracuda silver on the front.
I love my LRS man! I’m a big guy and this bike is still super powerful even with me on it. My next mod is probably risers and bars, hopefully sooner rather than later.
@@Marvelkid87 one thing about suspension. Not sure how big you are but if you weigh under 180 pounds, Ohlins is the only company that makes a shock that isn’t over sprung. All the rest are really designed for riders over 200. The heritage shock has a lighter spring from factory and is a good option if you’re ok with adding ride height. But adding ride height means changing the cockpit and if your bars are dialed it’s not worth it. Rwd, progressive and Fox are all over sprung for lighter riders and will need more damping to help with high speed bumps but then low speed comfort can be compromised
Man, you got all fired up going crazy about the RGS and future changes to the channel. I thought you were remodeling the bathrooms so you could refinance the house and buy a bagger. I got all excited, jumped on the RGS and then the Challenger yesterday. As soon as I got off the Challenger I went back to the Harley Dealer and said I will take a RGS black on black. You, Her Two Wheels, and Blockhead convinced me to try out full baggers. Where is your commission checks lol. Now I have to go drop even more cash on a go pro n video editing software.
Looking great man! If you need some turn signal block outs for the strut covers, check out Hairy Customs. The owner, Jeremy is pretty cool and is quick to ship with items in stock. The turn signal block outs are also textured so they match well to the strut covers well.
Right call on the house, when you start spending 4k on a re-painting job I think its doing too much. You can definitely be guilty of over-modding a bike and totally killing it while not adding any resale value. I liked that you got a second bike, and think maybe you should start looking at a touring as well.
MK87 - You mentioned you didn't like the color your exhaust was turning. You should check out a product called Zycoat, it is an exhaust sealant that dissipates heat and happens to come in a bronze color that comes close to matching the accents on your bike. I had mine done by their send in service a few months back and am pretty happy with the results.
Bike looks great. I like how all your mods are clean and tasteful and don’t detract from the original look and style of the bike like you were saying. Not a huge FXRT fairing fan, but they been growing on me. Regarding the exhaust and stage 2 engine upgrades, get that HPI before you do the stage 2, and don’t do the stage 2 until you’re out of warranty. The aftermarket cams make considerably more power than the SE cams, not worth spending the money on them IMO unless you absolutely need to keep that warranty. Research Dyno numbers on Fuel Moto’s website, S&S 475 or Redshift 468 Cam you can see 120hp and close to 130 ft/lbs with your 114 and a Powervision Tuner. A rear mono shock like the Legends you mentioned in a previous comment would be awesome, along with their cartridge kit for the front forks. Your right, all of these next mods in the progression are the most expensive ones. But as you slowly add them, it’ll completely transform the bike into a real performer. Looking forward to the progression. Ride safe man and enjoy the ride 🤘🏻👍🏻
@@Marvelkid87 the S&S 475 sounds like the winner then. I just started listening to the podcast episode your on with Five Dirty Bikers. Hilarious, 15 mins left and been laughing almost the whole time.

@@Marvelkid87 only way you can explain it is it refines your engine smoother more crisp ride hahaha i have the fxbb i wanna do stage 4 with a torque cam when i save up
Best video you've done in a while; at least in my opinion. I like what you've done with the bike so far and trying to keep the original style / theme that Harley intended. Just a thought (I've been thinking of doing it to mine) on the custom paint. Black with a gold flake just to brighten it up some and tie in the wheels more.
Just ordered a stage 2 kit with power cam and black gauge covers. Was leaning towards same TBR exhaust you have but the discoloration makes me hesitant. Definitely want a 2:1 exhaust though. Not sure I wanna spend HPI money though lol. Any other recommendations? I think S&S makes a black 2:1. I'm trying to completely black out my LRS so don't like idea of raw stainless steel. Speaking of where do you plan to get the two bolts from that go in between the two gauges? Know those will bug me standing out after I do gauge covers.
Nice I didn’t want stainless steel at first cu I wanted everything blacked out but I changed my mind now. I’m not sure about the bolts yea I need to look. There’s a fee company’s that make them
Man I’ve been thinking real hard and heavy about getting a low rider is I have a 03 Low rider what’s the difference on the ground clearance do you know because I’ve been scraping my exhaust going around corners didn’t know if it said a little higher or not
I wish they had any seats for my new ‘22 Chief Bobber Dark Horse! I neeeeeeed that seat, after about an hour or so my ass is aching so bad I need to stop like every half hour lol.
Doubt it. Stealth makes some nice stuff but HPi is killing the game right now. They have some of the best performance exhaust out there and their quality and welds are up there with fab28
@@ryanalvarez7772 I think it’s hard to say one is better. They’re both publishing great dyno results, and both have the reputation of “jewelry like” weld quality. I just think the stealth sounds better, and like that less people have them.
I’d avoid all that crap in the front, throw some real cartridges and don’t waste an inverted front end. Legends, or GP suspension if you really want the best of the best
I'm eyeballing the Low Rider S as a "potential" second bike early next year. Great mods and a beautiful bike!

You can color match it
I’m in same boat. I love it without the windshield except during a rare time I’m on a highway.
Hey mate do you have an external breather kit on your bike, for a cleaner air intake ???
I love my LRS man! I’m a big guy and this bike is still super powerful even with me on it. My next mod is probably risers and bars, hopefully sooner rather than later.
Get the block off plates for the turn signals it make it look clean
What about gauge relocation, heated grips, cruise control and different suspension?
Cruise control for sure I forgot to mention that and suspension when legends makes one

I wish but I made the mature decision and invested in my future. As the channel grows more bikes will come.
@@Marvelkid87 2 of my 3 are grown so I get to pretend like I have more disposable income lol. You will get there one day.
If you feel like you have adequate power and do a lot of long rides, I agree with you that stage 2 isn’t worth the additional gas station stops.
Enjoyed watching your journey and how the bike evolved since you purchased it. Good stuff. Provided lots of ideas for me.
Thank you 🙏🏽😎
I have a 2020 fxlrs and I did not completely love riding it till I got my S&S 475 cam kit. I personally love it and do not regret it having it at all.

I’d go stage 2 redshift, S&S or woods, powervision and the HPI pipe.
