The reinforcing that was added later could have been there from the start and part of the structure, that should be stable enough to not need the side things. And just drop a metal ball at the end.

Zip wires would stabilise it too and then you can send zip wire racers and cable cars and gondolas down the strings too.

Whats funny is that the first concept of the tower (the one with the triangle stabiliser ) looks so much like the first concept of the Effeil Tower. Check it out, its pretty insane.

I have a certain idea of how you could stabilize your screen loaded tower design… so you know how tall buildings, and by tall buildings I mean the tallest of tall buildings, do you know how they have a wider base than the top? That’s for a reason it’s so that the building won’t fall down home in something like an earthquake or a hurricane, or even just fall down by itself with no intervention from nature, except for gravity. Similarly, you could prevent your super tall tower of spring loaded shooters from falling down by making the base wider than the top.
That’s what the triangle does
