Shelby is an amazing, bright, beautiful and brave woman who has endured what no woman should ever have to. I am so proud of her for speaking up and sharing her story. I can personally say that she has made me feel less alone in my experiences. They aren’t coincidences. They aren’t one off mistakes. It’s a pattern. A pattern that will keep happening so long as we are too scared to speak up. The more of us speak up, the less scared we are. I support Shelby, and I feel her pain. I feel genuinely sick whenever I hear his voice now. I feel the need to share a story of the meat mountain: My fiancé had one in high school while we were on an over night trip (for school might I add). He is no longer allowed to order this sandwich because of what unfolded. We knew it wouldn't end well because he was dared and offered money to eat the whole sandwich but no one was prepared for the madness that ensued. He managed to eat the whole without throwing up. But that was the easy part. About fourty five minutes later this 16 year old boy was the equivilant of a black out drunk during spring break. Our entire group and one other unfortunate school who was staying in the same motel witnessed as he burst out of his room, shirtless, with a bath towel tied around his chest like a sash and two belts in hand. He then dropped one of the belts cracked the other and yelled "THE RECKONING HAS COME". This was when I and two of our classmates decided that my fiancé probably shouldn't be outside. But that mother fucker RAN and as a ex-soccer player he ran fast. Three or four other boys were egging him on from a balcony as we chased him around the motel for probably 20 minutes. Finally we caught him and he was dragged back into his room. I wasn't allowed to go in because I'm AFAB but thankfully the other two were male. So I watched from the door as my classmates quite literally wrestled him into bed (he was still actively trying to run away) and kept him from leaving until he fell asleep. To this day my fiancé has absolutely no memory of what occured on that night and neither I nor the rest of the people there will ever let him live it down.

As an American who is going on a road trip, I now want to go to Arbys.
Shelby is an amazing, bright, beautiful and brave woman who has endured what no woman should ever have to. I am so proud of her for speaking up and sharing her story. I can personally say that she has made me feel less alone in my experiences. They aren’t coincidences. They aren’t one off mistakes. It’s a pattern. A pattern that will keep happening so long as we are too scared to speak up. The more of us speak up, the less scared we are. I support Shelby, and I feel her pain.
I feel genuinely sick whenever I hear his voice now. This video always felt so lighthearted and fun, Shelby in the drivers seat, Wilbur in the passengers seat, smiling and joking, but it was all just a front. Now all I see is a lazy abusive man making his girlfriend drive them to Iowa to make content because, at the end of the day, that’s all he cared about.

I feel the need to share a story of the meat mountain:
My fiancé had one in high school while we were on an over night trip (for school might I add). He is no longer allowed to order this sandwich because of what unfolded.
We knew it wouldn't end well because he was dared and offered money to eat the whole sandwich but no one was prepared for the madness that ensued.
He managed to eat the whole without throwing up. But that was the easy part. About fourty five minutes later this 16 year old boy was the equivilant of a black out drunk during spring break. Our entire group and one other unfortunate school who was staying in the same motel witnessed as he burst out of his room, shirtless, with a bath towel tied around his chest like a sash and two belts in hand. He then dropped one of the belts cracked the other and yelled "THE RECKONING HAS COME". This was when I and two of our classmates decided that my fiancé probably shouldn't be outside. But that mother fucker RAN and as a ex-soccer player he ran fast. Three or four other boys were egging him on from a balcony as we chased him around the motel for probably 20 minutes. Finally we caught him and he was dragged back into his room. I wasn't allowed to go in because I'm AFAB but thankfully the other two were male. So I watched from the door as my classmates quite literally wrestled him into bed (he was still actively trying to run away) and kept him from leaving until he fell asleep.
To this day my fiancé has absolutely no memory of what occured on that night and neither I nor the rest of the people there will ever let him live it down.
