Yes Sarah practised and studied a lot in Canada. But you will learn quickly too! (Sarah recommends you find a tutor to study and practice at first) Good luck with your move in April, I hope everything goes well. Look us up anytime! (email us!)
Hello family i truly admire such bold decision you made on relocating your family back to El Salvador it won’t be easy to adapt but I completely understand you guys because I wanna do the same we have 4 kids all under 13 and i also wanna escape from what Canada has turned in to there’s no more values here is horrible especially with the doctrination happening here El Salvador is the place to be with good values and morals so get a car keep on going get to know places I’ll suggest a good neighborhood it’ll suit you guys and its call metropolis san Gabriel good location and houses range from 150’s to 300’s k explore and be careful with the house market is hot down there El Salvador has a LOT to offer and i hope you guys enjoy and thrive on this decision God Bless you 👌
Thanks so much for your kind words Carias, yes the housing market is definitely heating up down here so now is the time to buy property. Bendiociones a usted tambien!
Its funny how it's at the beginning for everything, to get used to the new life. I'm pretty sure Sarah will learn how things are over there and kids will love it once they go to school. I see you guys got q lot of fruits and vegetables. The difference is everything is so fresh. Nothing to compare with the stuff they sale at the markets in the USA and Canada. In other words, you'll be having real food. Congratulations on your new adventure Will and Sarah.
Yes its crazy the difference with the freshness and quality and flavor of the fruit and vegetable here! No coatings with God only knows what, everything is sweet and full of flavour and much of it is locally grown!
Santa Tecla is a good place accessible to everything although some areas are very expensive ... also Ahuachapán the climate is much better and you can go everywhere walking many green areas good beaches, hot springs and the towns of Apaneca and Concepción de Ataco they are perfect I think there are videos on TH-cam of houses for sale in that area. Of course, an area called Miramundo is also perfect but the cost is higher in that place San Miguel and La Unión the weather is veryyyyy hot
My family just finished building their house in that same neighborhood. They are on 17 in La Montaña. The area is nice with everything close by and everyone is very nice.
Hello guys, how happy I am to see you already enjoying the country, its pleasures such as the weather, the food, to see you happy and rediscovering the country again and its flavors!! Don't worry about the girls, little by little they will try the fruits and they will like everything, you will see!! a big hug and please give us part two very soon!!
Hi Josep, all is well here as I'm rediscovering a lot of things about my country. Sarah and the girls are so far adapting well and Sarah is thrilled that she finally gets to use her Spanish!
Hey guys I have a suggestion. Probably your girls start liking the variety of fruits we have, if you take them to the festivals we have like el festival del jocote etc. in general just take them to places where they can cut the fruit from the trees.
Following from Alberta. So glad you are vlogging as it's hard to find expat Cdn families in El Salvador on YT. Haha I know what you mean about fresh fruit here. In winter I 'browse' the produce section but know it's frozen fruit and bananas only this time of year as I gaze longingly at the grapes. The woke agenda making an attempt here too but definitely more pushback by parents re: schools.
I thought the USA was a better place for education for children. I guess the girls will go to a bilingual private school.
Yes that is the common view that North America has better education for sure. There's positives and negatives for both. In North America, class sizes are huge and teachers have difficulty finding the time to teach the curriculum because they have so many "behaviour days". Also, don't forget about the woke agenda they're ramming down the kids throat there.
Next time, be a little more discrete correcting your wife dude. You can learn to politely tap her arm and point at the sign while she's speaking respectfully. Just an observation
Building your own house is the way to go. I will be doing the same when I get back home.
i am from philadelphia and i ready to go back to my country el salvador en may /2024
This looks like Canada 50 years ago when fast food was very new. Makes me feeling very nostalgic; when life was simpler.
