Hi Matthew Oh, I love this one, not that I don't like all your other tutorials they are so fantastic too . I can't wait to make this one Thank you, and I hope you have a wonderful day, Matthew
thank you for your generosity Matthew , I have most your and Roberts pop up books...surprised that many more aren't watching...busy I suppose, so many things grabbing ones time & attention...no reflection on you as creator: awesome! Love from Australia!
Thank you so much for sharing these tutorials and templates, I started making cards 2 months ago and now I'm obsessed with pop-ups. I would not have gotten into it if you haven't made your videos
Hello Matthew, how are you? I'm curious, could you tell me how long it takes you to create and make a model for a pop-up book? Like the ones from "Harry Potter" or "Game of Thrones". Which, by the way, are incredible, thank you, a hug from a fan in Brazil. Luiz
Hello Luiz! Good question! So for a big pop, like the ones you gave as an example, it usually takes a 3 days to a week to get a rough design created, but I’ll admit, it can take a lot more and a lot less, too! For example, the big Godzilla pop in my Godzilla book took just a day because the design had been percolating in my brain for 6 months before I started. Conversely, a pop-up like the battling dinosaurs in my Jurassic world book took a month to refine due to all of the moving parts. After I make the rough design, it then takes a few days to make the templates for a complex design. At that point, I have to rebuild the pop a number of times to work out any problems I see, which can take weeks more, but may not be doing all this work at once. It’s sort of spread out over months. Does that answer the question? Xoxo!!!
Good to see more videos.

Rather lying flat, possible to create like a standing structure.
