Dallas Willard - For Such A Time as This - PART 3 - The Transforming Power of Obedience

Week after week, churches call their people to share their faith and then celebrate the number of converts made. That's wonderful, but how are we doing with second half of the Great Commission, "teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age?" In this teaching Dallas explains that, "Obedience is the organ of knowledge in the spiritual life." But he warns, "Our aim is not to do what Jesus said, but to become the kind of people who would naturally do that." The power of obedience does not come from outward obedience, but from a transformed life. This is the third video in the series.

Dallas was one of several significant people helping explain and demonstrate Jesus to me. 40 years as a Christian blind to the relationship and trust. And now I see.
