  • In this lab session you will learn about the fundamental concepts of data loading in an AWS Neptune database from the S3 bucket. The AWS Neptune is a graph database, we will teach the creation of database, setting up necessary VPC connections, configuring the security groups and creating the endpoints that are necessary to perform the task of data loading.
    Neptune Database:
Amazon Neptune is a fast, reliable, fully managed graph database service that makes it easy to build and run applications that work with highly connected datasets. The core of Amazon Neptune is a purpose-built, high-performance graph database engine optimized for storing billions of relationships and querying the graph with milliseconds latency. Amazon Neptune supports popular graph models Property Graph and W3C's RDF, and their respective query languages Apache TinkerPop Gremlin and SPARQL, allowing you to easily build queries that efficiently navigate highly connected datasets. Neptune powers graph use cases such as recommendation engines, fraud detection, knowledge graphs, drug discovery, and network security.

    Thank you for content.
I'm uploading data from csv's to Gramline using neptune. I need to load data once in moth , now I have to delete cluster and load new data which cause downtime. I there any option to make it without downtime?

Thanks for this tutorial, would appreciate if you can share the csv files as well. Is schema design possible in Neptune ?

team, could you share both the .csv files ? and this video not showing whether any db table needed to store these two .csv files? If yes, how to create table structure to hold these .csv file data ? I may be wrong here, please guide me, I would like to test this above demo.

at minute 9:45, how did you know which CIDR block to specify for the inbound rule? I am following everything but load is failing.

you can delete the rule and then save and then add a new rule - this worked for me!

In this tutorial you recommend to uncheck "create" notebook as there are known issues. If we follow along, your notebook suddenly appears in the middle of the tutorial. And it is not clear how to setup and configure the notebook.

just use the default create notebook, create while creating the DB
