“ये दिल और उनकी निगाहों का साये” 1973 की हिंदी फिल्म ‘प्रेम पर्बत' का एक गीत है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि फिल्म का प्रिंट समय के साथ नष्ट हो गया और इसलिए ये फिल्म और इसके गाने देखे नहीं जा सकते।
यह गीत यहाँ मधुमती (1958) के दृश्यों पर दर्शाया गया है, जिसमें मुख्य रूप से “आजा रे परदेसी” गीत शामिल है। दोनों गाने के बीच कई समानताएँ हैं और इसी कारण से ये गीतों के मिश्रण का प्रयास काफी वास्तविक प्रतीत होता है।
जयदेव का संगीत, जाँ निसार अख्तर के अद्भुत शब्द और लता मंगेशकर की हृदयस्पर्शी आवाज इस गीत को सदाबहार बनाती है।
“Ye dil aur unki nigahon ke saaye” is a song from 1973 Hindi film ‘Prem Parbat’. It is believed that the print of the film got destroyed over time and hence the film and its songs are unable to be viewed.
The song is here played back on the scenes of Madhumati (1958), primarily consisting scenes from the song “Aaja re pardesi”. Both the songs share many similarities between them which makes this superimposition attempt quite real.
The soothing music by Jaidev, amazing lyrics by Jan Nisar Akhtar and the haunting voice of Lata Mangeshkar are just breathtaking.

प्रेम परबत फिल्म के सारे प्रिंट जल जाने के बाद यह गीत रेडियो स्टेशन से मिल पाया था तब 1955 में बनी फिल्म मधुमती के एक अन्य गीत की जगह यह गीत चलाया गया। दृश्य और गीत में समानता के कारण यह नहीं लगता कि गीत किसी अन्य फिल्म का है। दोनो फिल्मों के ताल मेल करने वाले लोगों को धन्यवाद ।।

it was exam time and in the morning between 8am to 9am this song was daily played on radio Shri Lanka in our mess .It used to give a little relaxation in tension. Beautiful song , have fond memories of this song and my days in hostel .

The print has been destroyed over a period of time , unfortunately.
The vedio shown is definitely not from the movie Prem Parbat. I have only fond memories of the song heard on radio during of college days , I didn't see the movie.
