Excellent video and just what I needed, cause I have been interested in building modulators myself!
Could also use help on an idea I had for a M4L device that is pfft / spectral based but I am too much of a beginner at Max to realize it. Would be happy to tell the concept, do you have a Discord community like you deserve? :)
Essentially a device that depending on the settings can be a spectral SC compressor, dynamic filter or convolution reverb. Either way would love to learn about that sort of "multiplication" of 2 audio signals!

Hi @jopmens6960 - I think I'm too old for Discord - it stresses me out. :)
I haven't dug deep into Max's spectral objects (e.g. [fft~]) but perhaps one day! Let me know what you find or come up with :)

hey! thx for all your work! i`ve got a problem with your zs.mapper bpatcher..... the poly~ objects all have only 1 inlet, so all but the first patchchords get deleted. i can add 6 "in"-objects in addition to the standard "inlet"-objects, but.... am i missing something?

      Oh that doesn't sound good!
Can you let me know your OS, version of Live, and where exactly on your computer you saved the contents of the .zip file? It sounds like Max can't find the subpatchers and I suspect a folder location problem. I only mentioned the Mac path in the video. You can see the right folder for you by, in Max, going to the Options menu then File Preferences. You should use whatever directory is set to the User Library. Happy to look at screenshots, etc. just email me at zack@steinkamp.us
