I'd give the car a spin. The outside and the inside is reminiscent of the old Polos and Golfs. Turning switches, a stick shift... hmm. I'd accept it.
The engine however ... not a fan of 3-pot 1-liter forced-induction ones. Especially not in a big chassis.

Nie wiem jak oni robiÄ to T Cross bo mam porÃģwnanie do mojego Seat Ateca 1.0 tsi i rÃģÅžnica na nie korzyÅÄ T Cross jest ogromna. T Cross jest haÅaÅliwe , silnik bardzo sÅychaÄ, zawieszenie siÄ trzaska i przy 140 km/h trzÄsie nim. W mojej Atece nie ma takich problemÃģw , jest cichutko wewnÄ trz , nie czuÄ prÄdkoÅci nawet ponad 140 km/h , zawieszenie nie haÅasuje.

Itâs a decent car. I own one for 2.5 years, 1.0TSI 110HP paired with a DSG7 with 23k km on the dash. Fuel consumption: 5,6l/100km (mixed). Taking care of the oil temp and not pushing the car ð The car is okay until it hits 80km/h, then you start to notice its power deficiency. Itâs comfortable and spacious, especially the trunk, which is big for the size (IKEA approved ð ). The turning circle is good, making it a charm to drive in a big city.
The only negative is the VW policy with longlife motor oil and lifetime DSG transmission oil. Change every 2y/30k? Doesnât make sense and the prices went up too much.
Besides that, the DSG lags or has a âthinking minuteâ when it needs to start moving from standing position (this is a life hazzard). Imagine standing at a fast dual roundabout and trying to connect to it and this happensâĶ

could you tell me more about your experience with the car stopping and taking time to move off? iâm considering buying a brand new T cross as Iâm having that same problem with my old swift
@@arjunv3878 It's nothing major, you get used to it. If you have more expirience driving manuals the responsivness is a lot quicker. Imagine hitting the throttle and the car needs a second to respond (this only happens when you are on a full stop - standstill). I would suggest you to get a test drive and try this out. Most VW AG (audi, seat, vw, skoda) cars with DSG gearbox have this.
@@RipperBK ohh i see, so it just takes a second to move off? is it a major problem or nah? cause i currently have a swift and if i drive it for more than an hour and try to move off from a light, the pick up is very very slow and takes about 5 seconds to get going. obviously this is a dangerous problem so i was just wondering if its the same with the t cross or if its just a minor thing?
@@arjunv3878 like I said you get used to it. It's a minor thing. The DSG is really a fast shifting and smooth gearbox when it gets on operating temps.

i had one of these in this colour 115 6 speed manual 2019 plate (SE - Black) Colour Blue. I have to say I did not mind the easy wipe down hard plastics. It was my only car & i used it for long drives 200miles each way at least once a month. Never had one thing go wrong in the 3 1/2 years i had it. Body boards, surf boards etc all i ever had to do was wipe over the hard plastics & good as new.
motoring Journalists just don`t get this car. "its not a car to throw into sharp corners" (although i never had an issue) "it could be quicker away from the lights" funny enough i wasn`t racing anyone on public streets. all i wanted was a safe, practical, cheep to buy & run car with a high driving position that is well put together & can get my daily stuff done... every day. ford Puma yes its ok can get a serf board in it though, Audi Q2 hate the infomania screen & interface + always worried about causing damage to the delicate but fancy interior. BMW x1? too long for the same type of car as the T_Cross. Hyundia Kona, nice car but i have no dealers near me.
The T-Cross is not the best in class on looks, or interior or performance but it is a close second to all of that & probably the only car in this class that covers all of the bases well.

it is but in some markets the old t-cross was still being sold as new in 2024. I expect a few good deals were to be had. to be honest the best time to buy a new car was just before Covid struck. you could get a brand new one of these in top spec for less than ÂĢ25k. now your looking at nearly ÂĢ29k for an R line. i should know i have just brought one.

Mam T-crossa z 2022 roku, cz tym Åže w automacie.
OgÃģlnie nie jest Åšle, ale .... moje obserwacje:
--- Tu na tym filmiku samochÃģd jest ZUPEÅNIE NOWY, wiÄc .... nic nie skrzypi , nic nie stuka ..... i w moim egzemplarzu tuz po zakupie byÅo dokÅadnie tak samo, czyli cisza, nawet na bruku czy innych wybojach.
Natomiast po dwÃģch latach (a jeÅždÅžÄ BARDZO MAÅO, bo przebieg to 4000km) .... WSZYSTKO puka, stuka, skrzypi, drÅžy jak tylko jedziecie na niezbyt rÃģwnej drodze czy ulicy.
--- Wentylator klimatyzacji pracuje jak chce, czyli zmienia sobie obroty co kilka sekund ... sam ...
ZgÅosiÅem siÄ do ASO, a tam .... pokazali mi jakiÅ papier ... podobno z ekspertyzÄ z Niemiec, Åže .... UWAGA .... to normalne, co jest o tyle ciekawe, Åže jak dostaÅem auto zastÄpcze IDENTYCZNE, to tam tej "normalnoÅci" nie byÅo.
--- SamochÃģd naleÅžy raczej do tych twardszych niÅž do miÄkkich i wszelkie nierÃģwnoÅci drogi sÅychaÄ i czuÄ, ale .... jak droga jest w miarÄ rÃģwna, to z kolei auto zaskakuje ciszÄ w Årodku.
--- To jest trzycylindrowy silnik, wiÄc .... powinien "terkotaÄ" , a jednak ... w moim egzemplarzu ZUPEÅNIE nie wystÄpuje to zjawisko , no chyba, Åže nagle mocniej przyciÅniecie pedaÅ gazu.
Co ciekawe, w w/w aucie zastÄpczym (przypomnÄ, ODKÅADNIE TAKIM SAMYM) te drgania i terkotanie silnika byÅo czuÄ WYRAÅđNIE i to w kaÅždym zakresie obrotÃģw.
--- z plusÃģw jeszcze, .... nie zauwaÅžyÅem rÃģÅžnicy w przyspieszeniu czy ogÃģlnie w jeÅšdzie, bez wzglÄdu na to ilu pasaÅžerÃģw jest w samochodzie, czyli odnoszÄ wraÅženie, Åže auto jedzie i przyÅpiesza TAK SAMO czy jadÄ sam czy z kompletem pasaÅžerÃģw.
--- fajne jest rÃģwnieÅž skÅadane przednie siedzenie pasaÅžera , czyli po zÅoÅženiu prawej czÄÅci tylnej kanapy + przedniego fotela pasaÅžera, noÅžna spokojnie przewoziÄ (sprawdzone) doÅÄ dÅugie przedmioty.
--- Tylna kanapa jest rÃģwnieÅž przesuwana w caÅoÅci przÃģd/tyÅ o jakieÅ 15cm, co o tyle wÅaÅnie zwiÄksza pojemnoÅÄ bagaÅžnika, a mimo to, nadal spokojnie siedzimy na tylnych fotelach.
--- brak autohold, co jest o tyle dziwaczne, Åže jest (nawet w najniÅžej wersji) asystent wjazdu na wzniesienie, czyli .... podjeÅždÅžajÄ c pod wzniesienie i puszczajÄ c pedaÅ gazu, auto SAMO hamuje i trzyma hamulec tak dÅugo jak dÅugo ponownie nie przyciÅniemy pedaÅu gazu, czyli .... wypisz-wymaluj autohold ..... dlaczego nie zaimplementowano tego do prostej drogi, to doprawdy nie mam pojÄcia.
--- z zalet jeszcze (chociaÅž moÅže ktoÅ uzna to za wadÄ) to moÅžliwoÅÄ WYÅÄCZENIA tych wszystkich ostrzegajÄ cych piszczaÅek i brzÄczykÃģw .
-- natomiast dla odmiany .... Start-Stop ... jeÅli nie lubimy tej gÅupoty (a ja nie znoszÄ) to NIESTETY trzeba to wyÅÄ czaÄ ZA KAÅŧDYM RAZEM kiedy uruchamiamy silnik.
--- auto doÅÄ duÅžo pali w mieÅcie jeÅli krÃģtko jeÅšdzi, czyli przy zimnym, dopiero co odpalonym silniku, jeÅždÅžÄ c nie wiÄcej niÅž 4 kilometry samochÃģd spala (przynajmniej tak widaÄ na wyÅwietlaczu) 10 - 11 litrÃģw.
--- ZgoÅa odmienna jest sytuacja jeÅli jeÅšdzimy dÅuÅžej lub w trasie, bo wtedy (na nieco ponad 300 kilometrÃģw) w/w wyÅwietlacz pokazaÅ spalanie 5.8 litra.
--- no i fajne jest to, Åže to jest poniekÄ d SUV .... mini bo mini, ale .... sam fakt Åže podwyÅžszony juÅž robi robotÄ , czyli ZNAKOMICIE siÄ do niego wsiada i z niego wysiada + krawÄÅžniki sÄ zdecydowanie mniejszym problemem przy wjeÅšdzie na nie.
--- dla odmiany ... tylna szyba jest (w mojej opinii) BARDZO MAÅA ... na tyle maÅa Åže ciÄÅžko siÄ przez niÄ patrzy cofajÄ c, tak Åže zalecam od razu kupno tego auta z wmontowanÄ kamerÄ cofania jeÅli ktoÅ ogÃģlnie maÅo jeÅšdzi, bo wydaje mi siÄ Åže dla jeÅždÅžÄ cych codziennie i preferujÄ cych cofanie "na lusterka boczne" nie bÄdzie to stanowiÅo problemu.
--- dla zainteresowanych ...... w salonach powiedzÄ wam, Åže do samochodu nie zmieÅci siÄ peÅnowymiarowe koÅo zapasowe (pytaÅem przed zakupem w kilku salonach w rÃģÅžnych miastach) , a to .... NIE PRAWDA, bo mieÅci siÄ caÅkowicie i to nawet jeÅli opuÅcimy podÅogÄ bagaÅžnika w niÅžsze poÅoÅženie.
--- dla ciekawskich .... za samochÃģd (T-Cross 1.0 TSI __ 110hp ___ DSG) w lipcu 2022 daÅem rÃģwno 97 K .... czy to maÅo czy duÅžo nie mam pojÄcia ... potrzebowaÅem samochodu, a ten byÅ dostÄpny od rÄki w salonie, wiÄc .... kupiÅem.

@@stefank9939 i have 1.0tsi in my personal car and 2.0tdi in my company car and for me the TDI is much worse, rattles, shakes and sound like old tractor
I've heard somebody say that this is a useless car and I've got to agree. My parents just recently bought one so I know this firsthand. They bought it basically on a whim without even consulting me (me being the go-to guy whenever they need help with something), apparently its higher so my dad can get in/out easier. But that's just an illusion, the actual door hole isn't really any taller so he still needs to crouch painfully as he's tall and doesn't move that easily anymore. It's a showroom car, so it was 6 months old when they got it, and it came in a weird spec, like:
digital dash, where you can't select "classic" style for BOTH speed and revs, only one at a time
digital automatic 2-zone A/C, the touch-sensitive one, which is SO ANNOYING to even look at, as the icon for blow direction is so tiny even I have trouble seeing it
rear AND front parking sensors, the front ones being extremely annoying, BUT weirdly no parking camera
no front fog lights - I mean, they are basically useless but it's what I'd expect when there's such a luxury as digi-dash
no rear door speakers, so the audio quality isn't any better than our 13 y-old car
It's not a bad car, but it has no excuse to exist except to satisfy the dumb consumers' need to drive a "SUV-style" car. It's literally a Polo, but slightly bigger. I told all of this to my parents and they apparently don't want to admit it to themselves, they're "just glad we've got a new car", when the worst that happened to the old one was that the battery died one morning, which I solved by running it from the hill in reverse and bought a fresh one the next day...

I donât know why theyâre still making cars with manual transmission. Maybe for people living in smaller cities, but there ainât no way Iâm driving manual in major city with tons of traffic.

I have 58 hp in mine and went on a trip with 3 friends with luggage. It went really well. 110hp is more then enough for this city crossover

But here in Europe situation is different. For 30k in USA you can buy sport car with V6 or even V8. Here for this money you can buy 3-cylinder Hatchback with these 110 hp from your post.
No, I'm from Europe. I just mean I have driven the Audi A1 that had 110 hp but I found it to be very slow compared to my own A1 that had 150 hp.@@liverpoolmessi

Pretty underpowered for a volkswagen engine
One of the worst cars that VW ever produced. My friends wife got it from their company for a year, just returned it before Christmas. She isnt a very fast driver but still had 7.6l/100kms on the clock. The car did 22 000kms in a year. Before that it already had 7000kms. Imagine buying a car like this, overpriced box that is almost non repairable and being forced to drive for so much fuel becuase someone eFed up.

Cheap ass low quality interior... Same as all VWs.
The worst design of vw manual is that it utilizes a pushdown lock for reverse which is very error prone as you tend to shift with you hand palm down but is you rest thy hand too much on the knob, it will push down and 1st gear will be erroneously becomes reverse in some case.
