Zaruri nehi hai but karenge to achcha hai. Manually on off karna nehi padega. Solenoid valve ek timer ke sath lagana padta hai. Fir timer ke hisab se wo co2 on ya off karta hai.

Co2 using citric acid is more reliable and more controllable. It is close to a pressurized co2 setup at a very low cost. You get at least 90% better result than yeast co2 method which is a biological process. But if you can't use it properly then it may cause damage to you and your fishes just like s pressurized co2 setup. Be careful while using.
Try to pull the pipe inside citric acid with the help of the magnet and turn off the niddle valve manually. It should get stop in a few minutes. Next morning just drop the pipe again inside the citric acid.
You can setup even without co2 but if you can use some liquid co2 also the growth of the plants will be nice... Plants like anubious, crypts, vals, mosses doesn't need co2 addition...
Sabya da. Thank you for being so descriptive. Well explained the topic. Just a small doubt while building up the gas pressure, I see a lot of co2 gets wasted. So if the citric acid solution is added to the baking soda directly in a powdered form (keeping it in bottle B without dissolving it to the water) what would be the result.as eventually the powder would get mixed to the solution and form a slurry mixture. My whole motive is to minimise or nullify the wastage.
Don't try that at all. It will explode the entire system. It makes a huge pressure. The purpose of diluting it and slowly mixing it with the soda is so that you can adjust the reaction. If you mix both of them together you won't be having any control over the chemical reaction then. Be careful. It can really be dangarous and can suffocate you if tried in closed house. I have a very bitter experience.

Try to give it a potassium permanganate bath for a few days 2times a day and check. Unfortunately there is no medicine available just for hole on the head but try it.
Ye aapke choice ke upar depend karta hai... Nehi rakhne se cleaning easy hoga... Halaki agar gravel nehi rakhenge to beneficial bacteria sirf aap ki filter me hi create hoga... But kuch fishes ke liye bare bottom bohot hi achcha hai as they need a clean water for eg. Discuss when they are small.

Yes. In this video I didn't show it because I was just demonstrating the kit but check valve is must. Otherwise once the solution is finished tank water will flood everything.

Cichlids are pretty hardy and tollerent to different water parameters. They like a little acidic water and they prefer to have a few cave like rock formation. Use sand rocks if possible and don't mix them with other fishes as they are very aggressive by nature. They eat almost any fish food but try to change the diet in few days and they will love it.
It is an automatic device which turns on the co2 on a particular time and turns off in a particular time so manually you don't need to turn it on and off...

First of all Congratulation for achieving the target of 3500 subscribers 🎉🎉🎉 Now come to the point : as per your previous suggestion I have purchased DIY Co2 kit from Bangood, which is available at low price on “wish” (Pehle kyun nahin bataya....) but my query is - 1) why you have taken 100gm material whereas as per previous video and on kit it is written 200gm each material. I am using 200gm for 2 1/2 feet tank. Will it effect on pressure. 2) When I close the nob in night and again start in the morning, it is not started quickly (Bahut time leta hai) Is the product you are using as timer, will help in this regards. 3) For this any specific diffuser is effective ? Because I m using ISTA 3 in 1 and last time, pressure was enough but not getting bubbles in diffuser. Thanks in Advance
Bhai first of all thank you for subscribing to my channel. Now your first questions answer: well I myself was not aware of wish.com when I told you about banggood.com. sorry about that. 2. If you are lifting the pipe from lemon salt at night stop that for a few day and check. It should be fine. 3. It definitely depends on your diffuser as regular glass diffuser works with much lesser pressure but the proper one like ISTA or nano diffuser works with much higher pressure. So if you are not getting bubbles from the diffuser, try to increase the pressure on the bottles. I am sure that will work.
And yes regarding 100gms of ingredients it gives me good result for at least 2 weeks and anyways I'm shifting towards pressurized co2 system so you mix it as per your requirements.

Solenoid is a device to turn on and off our Co2 supply on a specific time. So you manually do not need to turn on or off the Co2 on a daily basis. Price may drastically vary depending on where you are purchasing it from. Check in wish.com and probably it will cost you around Rs. 700/- to Rs. 800/- plus shipping. I am really glad to hear that you find my videos helpful.
Enough light, co2 and fertilizer is the key. If you have too much flow in water it will not pearl. More than pearling look at the plant growth and health. All plants doesn't pearl also...

Ye process better hai but ishme kharcha thoda jyada hota hai. Par ish par aap co2 ko control kar sakte hai. Pressure achcha hota hai. Aap diffuser use kar sakte hai. Algae growth Kam hota hai.

If you are using a wave maker turn that off for a few weeks until the plants set them up. If it is a canister filter you can always reduce the flow by using the controller provided near the outlet pipe.
Magnet ka use karke citric acid wala pipe ko upar karke rakhiye kuch ghanto ke liye jab co2 on ho. Pressure release hone ke baad fir niche utar dijiye. Problem solved.

Abhi to milna muskil hai kiyu ki ye sirf AliExpress and wish.com pe hi milta tha. Amazon pe lockdown ke baad mil sakta hai but price wise I would say it is better to go for a new setup.
It is not about right or wrong but you need to take some precautions before using land soil as it may contain harmful chemicals or pathogens. You need to heat the mud in a micro oven for about 15mins at 150 to 200℃ that will kill all the harmful bacteria and always use soil from a place where didn't throw their garbage.
Sabya Bhai main DIY Co2 kit 3 months se use kar raha hun, par ek problem ko main solve nahi kar pa raha hun wo hey co2 leakage woh bhi bottle key cap ke tread se ho raha hey. Maine cap change kar ke bhi dekh liya aur bottle ke tread pey bhi teflon tape laga liya phir bhi gas leakage ho raha hey.

No. It won't blast unless the indicator crosses the red mark. Which doesn't happen so easily.

Hey! Do I have to shake the bottle again when I have to use it the next day as my baking soda has been settled down as a sedimentation over night.
Usually you don't need to shake unless there is any leakage in your system.
which co2 diffuser you use for diy co2 system
Any regular diffuser will work but you can use a nano diffuser as well but it will cost a bit extra around ₹600. But it works really great.

That's to pull it up pipe at night using the magnet. So that the citric acid doesn't end up going to the cooking soda bottle and waste the solution.

Place it just below the out flow. If it is too close to the wall then put it on a side where the co2 bubbles get most of the water flow.

Yes. I have tried it my self and it works fine with most of the regular diffusers available in market.

6 ft ke liye ye mahnga padega. Use kar sakte hai but effective nehi rahega. Zaldi khatam ho jayega. Better go for pressurized co2.

You need to buy bubble counter and diffuser separately. They don't come with the kit. You can buy from the link in my shop section. Recently wish.com is taking too much time to deliver product any many times I had to cancel the order after two months of waiting time(imperative to say the order was never delivered).

Now come to the point : as per your previous suggestion I have purchased DIY Co2 kit from Bangood, which is available at low price on “wish” (Pehle kyun nahin bataya....) but my query is -
1) why you have taken 100gm material whereas as per previous video and on kit it is written 200gm each material. I am using 200gm for 2 1/2 feet tank. Will it effect on pressure.
2) When I close the nob in night and again start in the morning, it is not started quickly (Bahut time leta hai) Is the product you are using as timer, will help in this regards.
3) For this any specific diffuser is effective ? Because I m using ISTA 3 in 1 and last time, pressure was enough but not getting bubbles in diffuser.

Now your first questions answer: well I myself was not aware of wish.com when I told you about banggood.com. sorry about that.
2. If you are lifting the pipe from lemon salt at night stop that for a few day and check. It should be fine.
3. It definitely depends on your diffuser as regular glass diffuser works with much lesser pressure but the proper one like ISTA or nano diffuser works with much higher pressure. So if you are not getting bubbles from the diffuser, try to increase the pressure on the bottles. I am sure that will work.
And yes regarding 100gms of ingredients it gives me good result for at least 2 weeks and anyways I'm shifting towards pressurized co2 system so you mix it as per your requirements.

Solenoid is a device to turn on and off our Co2 supply on a specific time. So you manually do not need to turn on or off the Co2 on a daily basis. Price may drastically vary depending on where you are purchasing it from. Check in wish.com and probably it will cost you around Rs. 700/- to Rs. 800/- plus shipping.

Enough light, co2 and fertilizer is the key. If you have too much flow in water it will not pearl. More than pearling look at the plant growth and health. All plants doesn't pearl also...

Ye process better hai but ishme kharcha thoda jyada hota hai. Par ish par aap co2 ko control kar sakte hai. Pressure achcha hota hai. Aap diffuser use kar sakte hai. Algae growth Kam hota hai.

If you are using a wave maker turn that off for a few weeks until the plants set them up. If it is a canister filter you can always reduce the flow by using the controller provided near the outlet pipe.

It is not about right or wrong but you need to take some precautions before using land soil as it may contain harmful chemicals or pathogens. You need to heat the mud in a micro oven for about 15mins at 150 to 200℃ that will kill all the harmful bacteria and always use soil from a place where didn't throw their garbage.

Taflon tape ko jyada mat dijiye. 5-6 turns kafi rahega aur pressure jyada mat create kijiye.
