0:31 Ice, I visit that area in france and I must tell you that it is a Very popular spot to fly light aircraft. Half of my family comes from the North of France around that area, and no day goes by without seeing at least one light aircraft of that kind over the coast. Love the videos, keep it up!
And on google earth, if you use the “historical imagery” option and paste the coordinates of these examples of plane crash sites: Polish Air Force 101, China eastern 5735, us bangla 211, Ethiopian 302, and Malaysian 17 to the closest date after the crash, the wreckages can be seen.
If you're ever in iceland, you have to see the solheimasandur plane wreck, The abandoned DC Plane on Solheimasandur beach is a former US Navy aircraft that crashed on the beach in 1973. Despite the crash, all crew members survived, and the wreckage of the plane was left on the beach as a reminder of the incident.
Finally a google earth video by Ice711 that doesn’t directly fly over my house 💀💀💀💀💀 Also you should have included the plane wreckage near McMurdo station that’s been there since the 70s, I think it’s a C-121 Lockheed Constellation? Might not be visible because the imagery in Antarctica is bad.
B-29s are my favorite WWII bomber! There was one that was emergency landed on an ice sheet near Greenland that some enthusiasts tried to repair and fly. It took them almost a year and one man died in the process. They were almost able to fly it out, but one engine failed and it became immobilized on a thinner part of the ice sheet. When the ice melted that summer, the plane broke through it and sank. They made a PBS Nova documentary about it a while back.
Yo I was the one that informed him about the Ana airplane. Check the last google earth vid Edit: I’m glad to have it in thumbnail I’ve always wanted to point it out to ice 711 to see if it was bad satellite or a crash
Given the length and wingspan measured by Google Maps (platform I used), I believe the "Glider" in the Gaza Strip is really a Israel built and operated Elbit Hermes 900 multi-role drone. This drone, according to Wikipedia, is able to carry a "Spike" Anti-Tank Guided Missile, which is a lot of damage. The measurements on google maps showed that the length was around 8-9 meters when measured numerous (around 4 times), with a wingspan of 15 meters. This is the same when compared to the Hermes 900. Plus, the tail section includes one propeller. If you close enough, there is a another section behind the tail. Interesting!
4:30 this is an MQ-9, i can tell because i have a model of the MQ-9 in my room and they both match when viewed from above Edit: it could be an MQ-1 too
