I had a feeling this was the way this storyline was going to go. I have been angry at Steph for the emotional manipulation she keeps throwing at her mum. When someone says no and puts up a boundary between them and another you don’t do what Steph did and cry but he is dying. That boundary is there for a reason and you have to accept that. Hopefully people will learn something from this storyline about not forcing someone to have contact with someone they don’t want to contact.
No one just decides to cut their parents out of their lives. It must have been for a good reason but she was likely just being spiteful because she didn't like that Ruby couldn't cope with parenting her. The real reason she couldn't cope may have been because she knew all along that she was Anthony's child.
It was also rumoured that Aretha Franklin's Father The Reverend CL Franklin did the same thing. Also he was such a powerful and influential preacher in Detroit, MI., that nobody would believe that he would do such a horrific thing. Also in 1973 and 1976 respectively he did the funerals of both Paul Williams of The Temptations & Florence Ballard of The Supremes. Also look at what a sicko Christopher Dollananger Sheffiled was. He couldn't stand his sister cathy loving any other man except him. He really deluded himself into thinking he was Cathy's Husband and her sons were his biological.
Anthony’s obviously as bad as Caleb. You know, he calls Ruby out for this but doesn’t seem to care that Caleb was a thief, before he and Ruby met and then, he found out Caleb had a full blown affair with Tracy but only calls out his own daughter. Both Caleb and Anthony want locking up, for life.
Why did she forgive him then if their secret was this terrible and are they hinting at him having amnesia? I have never seen this type of storyline from that type of perspective before. It would be interesting if they went down that route.

Her knee jerk reaction may have been to succumb to the pressure of being trampled on because of what Anthony did in the past. It became clear in tonight's episode that he does remember and is just trying to taunt her.
Because the story is unrealistic, Emmerdale haven't got a clue on how to highlight a real life issue and make it realistic. Just look at that Belle and Tom story. Absolute shit💩
