@2fmrc I think the big issue is on release there wasn't enough of them. I just got mine had it in order at lhs since announced. They got 3 of the initial 20 they ordered. I ended up with the rtr because nobody wanted it.

I am loving all your honest level headed content as much as I love my FMS Smasher V2!
I am putting the fms speed motor in Smasher as soon as pay day treat visit to the model shop comes around
My question is 2 part..
1. would putting the speed motor in my scx24 give it the punch and speed it's lacking in very loose slippery hill climbs?
2. Would I retain the slow control if I used the controller to lower the speed limit end points when I want it?

Hey! I appreciate that. I haven’t really paired the speed motor with the scx transmission & axles so I can’t say too much about it would definitely be an improvement over the stock motor in them for sure. The main thing is you will have to change the pinion out so just know that it may be a bit of work.
