Quick tip. If you ever need mineral oil in a pinch. Go to any pharmacy and grab a bottle of baby oil. It’s mineral oil. It’s a bit thicker than Moto mineral oil so it makes the clutch a bit heavier, but it still works and best of all won’t destroy your seals like dot fluid.
When we were 16 & on our L's, my friend & I rode to Pt Augusta on my KLX250 & his XT250. It seemed like a long journey & we stopped at every 2nd roadside rest spot. Total distance was about 90km
submarine?.............must be a Collins Class POS. Yunta to Pt Augusta is a nice piece of road........few towns,good road,nice farming scenery.....after the desert its very refreshing.

Go to a machinist's shop, bribe them with a beer and out of a block of aluminum/aluminum (pick yer flavor) hewn an extension riser for the fluid reservoir on the stock brakes, because the current capacity on any stock brake, that's on the market today, is RUBBISH. I extended mine to thrice the original on the same Magura model and i haven't looked back, seriously. I was oh, 3 months or so ago surveying some land and the rear brake started puking its guts, i never noticed until i got home, that's how good a mod like that is. I sincerely don't understand what modern brake manufacturers think with this petite sizes.
Mineral oil (aka "liquid paraffin") is pretty easy to find...Look for places that have wooden furniture or cooking supplies as it's used to season wood... also Johnson's baby oil is just mineral oil with fragrance (not sure if the fragrance would hurt anything... but in a pinch). Also, why do manufacturers do stupid stuff like that? Fook that shit! Yes, mineral oil might be awesome performance-wise but when you're in the middle of nowhere and need parts it's better to have the same thing everyone else has.

yep, i confirm that. One on my buddy had a broken seal on his front brake cylinder and baby oil did the trick without changing the seal for 3 days.
And can be cheaper.

FYI, you can use a light weight fork oil too for mineral oil or baby oil is also mineral oil plus it smells nice :). (I'm a KTM owner :) )
