We as people deserve eternal death because we've all sinned against a Holy God for the Bible says For All falls short of the glory of God and the wages of Sin is death…
But God is rich in mercy and Love, the Bible says He absolutely finds no pleasure in anyone dying in their sins
He made a way to save people from eternal death & satisfy His Judgement simultaneously
1. Jesus who is God came to earth and lived a perfect life,
2. Died on the cross
3. And was Resurrected to back to Life 3 days later from the grave
So in short. JESUS paid our fine for us, by sacrificing His life for us
by taking the very punishment that you and I deserve which is death and Hell, even though we were guilty of committing crimes against God, are fine was paid for.
because of Jesus' Life, Death, and resurrection, & He offers His life for you and everyone else who ever lived, as a Gift
You accept his offer by repenting of your sins which means you changed your mind about your sinfulness which coincides the moment you place your faith in Jesus
The Bible says if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, "Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.""
For it is by grace that you're saved, through faith, and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.
Which means that you don't get to heaven based on the good you've done in your life. But only by believing in Jesus, since He is the Way, the Truth, and The Life, the only way to the Father is through Him.
For the Bible says those who placed their faith in Jesus that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life."
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
That's why He sent his Son for God so loved the World that he gave His One & Only Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life

Such a false perceptions of Christians on a whole. Many cultists of Christianity have threatened, coerced, and ruined lives of entire families over even a hint of those families "falling from grace" or "blaspheming". They may not retaliate to strangers (because they know it would be bad publicity) but the reality is, Christians are typically horrible people, like most cultists.

The guy who said who believes in Jesus. Is doing a gentle reprimand because he either feels convicted about not being bold about Jesus or convicted because participated in the act. He’s basically saying spread the truth but compromise it with caring about what the world thinks vs being bold in Christ.
I think the guy has a point, it is the guy's approach that is problematic. That sign is not the gospel I understand the guy's motive but it comes across as condemning, it will turn people off. The gospel is about who Jesus is and what He has done for us. In 1 Corinthians 15:1-8, the apostle Paul summarizes the most basic parts of the gospel message, namely, the death, burial, resurrection, and appearances of the resurrected Christ.
15:1 Now I want to make clear for you, brothers and sisters, the gospel that I preached to you, that you received and on which you stand, 15:2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold firmly to the message I preached to you-unless you believed in vain. 15:3 For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received-that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, 15:4 and that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the scriptures, 15:5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve…
I believe that he had good intentions behind what he was saying. A lot of people are so hard hearted that saying "abortion is murder" is not going to make them want Jesus.
@@deeperlife5689 Coming from a born again believer. He was considerate enough to ask them what do they think of the sign. So, I understand his concept of it being a conversation stater.
Also the Gospel is Good News which part of the sign had displayed in regards of being forgiven. Paul also was abused for kicking down idols and speaking the truth people didn’t want to hear in Rome according to Acts 16 ( read the entire chapter to get a full concept). There is also 2 other times Paul was physically reprimanded for The Gospel.
Jesus also fore warned those who choose to be bold in Him they will be hated;
“If the world hates you, know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you belonged to the world, the world would treat you with affection and would love you as its own. But because you are not of the world [no longer one with it], but I have chosen (selected) you out of the world, the world hates (detests) you. Remember that I told you, A servant is not greater than his master [is not superior to him]. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word and obeyed My teachings, they will also keep and obey yours.”

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”

Which is funny he didn’t realize he was on college campus until someone mentioned it. Which is full of people who believes their worldly knowledge out weighs The Truth of The Gospel.
Maybe the sign wasn’t for those who belief was against it. Maybe it was meant for the guy who proclaimed to believe in Jesus with a compromised view of “ be careful of what they think”.

Especially being open enough to ask them “ What do they think?” but my approach in sharing the Gospel I often asked people who the Spirit lead me too can I pray for them? Or stayed off in conversation to get an idea of their perspective.
@deeperlife5689 I disagree, i don't think he has a point at all. I think the guy needs to discipled more on not ashamed of the gospel. We aren't promised tomorrow. It's prideful to think you have all the time in the world to build relationships in order to share the gospel. Jonah literally showed up to Ninevah and told a whole city God was going to destroy them and the whole city repented.
There is no one way to share the gospel, just be sharing it!
Paul was assaulted and put in jail for sharing the gospel. 2 Timothy 3:12 says "In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted" if you aren't seeing persecution in your life, you might want to reflect on if you are truly wanting to live a Godly life in Jesus.
The sign is a conversation starter that literally reads out Jesus forgives sin. In this case murder, we have a nation that sheds innocent blood in the millions because we have become complacent with speaking the truth.
It should not be be controversial to say killing babies is wrong. I think that reflects how badly the state of our Church has become.

I used to bill cytology cases. I quit doing that in 2021. What’s sad about a lot of these is the amount of YOUNG girls having abortions. I am talking over 10+ abortions for many. They aren’t even 25!!! Even scarier multiple sexual partners and STDs.

@priyaverma1321 I don't believe that Jesus was God in the flesh because I believe that an idol doesn't necessarily have to be made out of wood or stone. I believe that a human being or an animal like the holy cow in Hinduism can also be an idol, or an example of a human idol would be the pharaoh in ancient Egypt or the Pope in our day and age. To say that God became man for us to worship him as a man is the same thing as saying that God would enter a statue and command us to worship that statue, I don't believe that God would turn himself into an idol and to say so is theologically considered blasphemy in my religion. By the way like I said before I don't hate Christians I just don't theologically agree with them on a spiritual level.
THIS is a prime example of how the party of “inclusion” acts when confronted with facts and/or opinions that differ from their narrative. It’s one thing to be upset by a narrative that you disagree with, but a whole other when resorting to violence instead of an intelligent conversation.

I’ve heard that before. Some people like to use the fact that Jesus hung out with sinners, to make Jesus seem “untrustworthy” somehow. If Jesus would have only hung out with the sinless, He would have had to stay in Heaven because none on earth (besides Jesus) were or are sinless.
The second thing I think they don’t realize or were never told is that His “inner circle” had their hearts and minds changed by Him, not the other way around.
It's a double edged sword because Jesus hanged with sinners they think that he condoned their sins or what you said that he was also which is rare but ppl use anything to justify their sins

Jesus flipped the tables and whipped the money changers out of His fathers house the temple. Jesus was very public.
When you say "whipped the money changers" you have to mean "whipped at their direction". He didn't actually strike them directly..
Jesus didn’t whip the money changers out of anger. It was out of His authority as God. Jesus took time to make this whip, so it wasn’t blinding anger. He knew exactly what He was doing and that was to purify the church.

No big deal, Jesus told us about persecution against us, some of us will be killed, jailed, beaten,..etc. Anything for Jesus; He died for us. Today, in Israel, a Christian female preacher was sent to the hospital after a Jewish guy assaulted her.

Yeah, its really sad what happens for preaching truth.. thats why it was nothing when he got the slushie thrown... i guess i had a tiny bit of pride when it happened because i was a marathon runner for a decade and still run to this day so i felt like my "feature" or ability could have been used.. if Wes woulda said "sure get him" I woulda chased him all around Pittsburgh until he was too tired to continue.. but my softened heart didn't act impulsively to chase him but let him go..
