it’s sad that he actually liked her but since everyone else bullied her he bullied her too and he did want to be friends but because of everyone he felt like he had to fit in until they all betrayed him and put the blame on him and because of that that’s why when he fought shoko he got upset like “i did everything they did so why was i the one they chose to betray” and led to his suicidal thoughts (this is just. a theory for me i did no research other than watch the movie but i came up with that :))
I kinda agree except for the fact that he was probably the most harsh. i mean, people told him to stop because even they thought that he was being too harsh.
