- I love this song
So for everyone. Before you continue complaining and discussed:
I imagine the text from the internet. I could not know that the Hebrew part is wrong. whence also?
my only language is german. I can't good english and i can't spreak hebrew.
So everybody, relax take it easy. it's just a video.
Much love,
Netti
i find this so much more effective than the mariah carey and whitney houston version - dont get me wrong, they're amazingly talented but it feels so souless giving this song a pop sound to it. this is just so much more emotional because of the orchestral music, and the hebrew, and all the people joining in at the end. that's why i'll never like a cover of this song... its just one of those songs that cant be covered (though no disrespect to anyone who tries :P).
I absolutely agree to that
+hinasakukimi Yes, I have to learn this for a friend and I find it hard to sing along to Mariah and Whitney because all the soul-wailing and improvisation means I can't hear the basic tune at times!
I agree. I think it's better if the actual voice in the movie sings.
you are not alone my friend... :)
Nadlie Vergas Me? I'm not alone?
Hebrew Children:

Mi-cha-mo-cha ba-e-lim adonai
(Who is like You, oh Lord, among the celestials)
Mi-cha-mo-cha ne-dar-ba-ko-desh
(Who is like You, majestic in holiness)
Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-al-ta

That's amazing bro! :D Thanks for the lyrics...it gives the song an even deeper feeling!
👍
Thank you for the lyrics. May Jesus bless you.
+Natalie Berrisford Do you really think that's an appropriate response to someone on a distinctly jewish song? Really?
theUNDERLANDER
I do it everywhere and i am NOT stopping because you dont like it. soo
MAY JESUS BLESS YOU THROUGH LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel like this song can be associated with any rough situation. My sister had cancer when she was 2 years old. She survived it, and the chances of her surviving was less than 1%. That was a miracle.
Praise God!! 🙌
How beautiful is the voice of a child, so innocent and pure. In them is the most unadulterated joy and love for our Creator.
😇🇧🇷
"I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously
Who is like You, Lord, among the celestial?
Who is like You, majestic in holiness?
In Your love, You led the people You redeemed
I will sing, I will sing, I will sing"
THIS IS MY FAV SONG I CRY ALL THE TIME ... GOD THANX FOR EVERYTHING THERE CAN ALWAYS BE MIRACLES WHEN YOU BELIEVE . GOD I LOVE YOU
Amen!!
Angel Laws I totally agree
My choir group sung this song, I LOVE IT!
Amen!
Amen
Lord, Forgive us your children for we do not know the way , you Lord are the Light we need to follow although many are lost in the dark, those touched by your light will brighten the world and remove the darkness from the soul of man, may we ever serve you the father, son and holy spirit. Amen.
Amen
+Callum Wynne (true Prince of Wales) Amen.
amen 🙏
+Callum Wynne (true Prince of Wales) A Christian prayer for a Jewish song. Aight.
+Lorgar Aurelian it's a Christian song to.
Always believe in our protector! He is always there for us and always will when you believe.
AMEN
Amen!
amen brother
Amen!
amen to that well said
YES!
I was going into a physics exam, I hate physics and didn't understand it at all, and somehow I got a C, there can be miracles!
You had God on your side that's how you got the C- on your physics paper.
funny how we measure a miracle by success
@@Douglas_Reuber imagine measuring it by failure? Like really?
Hebrew:
Ashira l'adonai, Ki ga'o ga'a
Ashira l'adonai, Ki ga'o ga'a
Mi chamocha ba'eilim adonai
Mi chamocha nedar ba'kodesh
N'chita v'chas'decha, am-zu ga'alta
N'chita v'chas'decha, am-zu ga'alta
Ashira, Ashira, Ashira
***** something about singing of God's deeds.
I think there's a lyric video or two on TH-cam, you'll probably find it it you look for it.
***** This is what I've found on the internet. I don't know how accurate it is:
I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously.
I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously.
Who is like you, oh Lord, among the celestial
Who is like you, majestic in holiness
In your love, you lead the people you redeemed
In your love, you lead the people you redeemed
I will sing! I will sing! I will sing!
Then it repeats :)
A basic and more contextualised translation is
"I will sing to the Lord for He has triumphed greatly
I will sing to the Lord for He has triumphed greatly
Who is like You, O Lord among the gods.
Who is like You, glorious in holiness.
In Your loving kindness and guidance You
redeemed this people.
In Your loving kindness and guidance You
redeemed this people.
I will sing, I will sing, I will sing..."
Based on the Song of the Red Sea in Exodus ch 15
FINALLY someone who actually knows the Hebrew like I do. It made me mad she spelled it wrong
I'm an atheist but I love this song, another song fromnthis movie and the movie itself a whole bunch
This is my favorite song out of the whole movie. It's so inspirational with so much emotion. Every time I hear this song, it just makes me think about the lives of Hebrews back then. 😇
me too dude.
same
Ya do know the Hebrews weren't ever slaves like portrayed in the film right ?
Been proven that the pyramids builders weren't treat like shit
I will always prefer this version. Its so much more emotional and pure than the original.
This IS the original
In my town we have 2 county schools and one inner city school and every year we have a huge concert where all 3 school's choirs combine. We did this song about 5 years ago and it brought tears to almost everybody. This song is BEAUTIFUL.
this song makes me want so smile and give some random person a hug!
IT GIVES ME HOPE! :) :) :)
:) :)
Oh childhood, how i miss thee...
Same
This rendition from the movie is so majestic and moving. It gives both hope and faith.
This song is so powerful, I cry every single time I hear it, because of the sheer truth it holds. God is amazing, as the song puts it that whole feeling you have, that resonates far into your soul when your faith is true and unshakable. The feeling that with every question you ask and search for God holds the answer to. I may no longer consider myself a Christian, however my faith is stronger than it ever was. Thank you God, for inspiring this song and the people who so gladly share it.
Who else is visiting songs we used to sing in music classes as little kids and *FEELIN' THE NOSTALGIA?!*
I sing this to my son whose a month old as lullabies to sleep. Cry every time.
A-shir-ra la-do-nai ki ga-oh ga-ah
A-shir-ra la-do-nai ki ga-oh ga-ah
Mi-cha-mo-cha ba-e-lim adonai
Mi-cha-mo-cha ne-dar-ba-ko-desh
Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-al-ta
Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-al-ta
A-shir-ra, A-shir-ra, A-shir-ra!
Robyn Marsden I thought those lyrics looked wrong
Robyn Marsden hahahha NICE DONE ROBYN MARSDEN XDD
Now thats helpful!!! :D
SketchyGrl nope it's right
Loves Nuraini Robyn's lyrics are right, yes
I prefer this version than Whitney Huston, she IS a good singer, but this version's what I heard growing up and i'm more used to it, I hardly even listen to Whitney Huston, just the song "I will always love you."
I will ALWAYS prefer this version. This version isn't just a song, it's a prayer in music. Mariah and Whitney's version is just a pop song.
I agree with you 100% :)
I like Dolly singing her own song.
Almost evry songs of her is better than a fuckin I will always love you
Whoever disliked this video has no idea what true heart-wrenching songs are.
1:13 the strong emotional feeling starts here.
Brand91 I think it started at 0:00
@@huskylivesmatter8328 nope. You can feel it just right here. You can feel the rhythm getting intense in your veins.
Love this song. Has great meaning and I can imagine the joy and astonishment of the people when they finally realized freedom after so many years of bondage and cruelty. Great lyrics and inspiring melody.
The part the children sing in hebrew is an excerpt from The song of the sea. It is possibly one of the oldest pieces parts of the torah as its is written in a archaic(older) mode of hebrew poetry than most other prayers. It is an important part in relgious services for not only judaism but also many christian sects though I think its most beautiful when sing in the orginal hebrew as it is during scharit services.
God is with us all
I love this song so much it's so beautiful. Miracles can really happen When You Believe in God!!! :)
Honestly, I'm agnostic, but why should this stop me from enjoying this incredibly beautiful song? this is one of the most beautiful songs in movies I've ever heard, it makes me teary eyed.
Nonetheless, if God exists or not, this song makes me feel like everything is alright, and you can believe in yourself, and not let anything bring you down :)
I will seriously sing this at the end of this pandemic
Praise God! I LOVE this song of hope, when all seems hopeless.
God wraps hope around His miracles.
WOOOOOOO!!!!! .... God is awsome for making such incredible things like Eeearth!!!!! Woooo u go!! Love yaaalll and people reading this!!!!! PEACE AND LOVE YALLL!!!!!! :-)
This song is so amazing, and it has only improved since I was a kid. I know now that the song is sung as Batman leads the Jews out of Egypt.
Sometimes the world is just so darn beautiful.
***** Nope. Batman. Moses is played by Val Kilmer, who was the Batman in "Batman Forever." I'm not sure who or what Barman is, but I'm pretty sure my comment says Batman.
Yup, batman leads the Jews out of Voldemort's control
soccerwizard975 sounds like an interesting story
What kind of video is that and I don't mean it in a bad way
By "Batman leading Jews out of Egypt", do you mean as in Christian Bale starring in Exodus later this year?
Many nights we prayed
With no proof, anyone could hear
In our hearts a hopeful song
We barely understood
Now, we are not afraid
Although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains
Long before we knew we could, whoa, yes
There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles you can achieve?
When you believe, somehow you will
You will when you believe
Oh-oh-oh
Mmm, yeah
In this time of fear
When prayer so often proves in vain
Hope seems like the summer bird
Too swiftly flown away
Yet now I'm standing here
My hearts so full, I can't explain
Seeking faith and speakin' words
I never thought I'd say
There can be miracles
When you believe (When you believe)
Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill (Mmm)
Who knows what miracles you can achieve? (You can achieve)
When you believe, somehow you will
You will when you believe
They don't always happen when you ask
And it's easy to give in to your fears
But when you're blinded by your pain
Can't see the way, get through the rain
A small but still, resilient voice
Says, help is very near, oh (Oh)
There can be miracles (Miracles)
When you believe (Boy, when you believe, yeah)
Though hope is frail
It's hard to kill (Hard to kill, oh, yeah)
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve (You can achieve, oh)
When you believe somehow you will (Somehow, somehow, somehow)
Now, you will (I know, I know, know)
You will when you (When you)
Believe
You will when you (You will when you)
Believe
Just believe (Believe)
Just believe
You will when you
Believe
I kinda feel blessed, everytime I have a hard finals test at school, I become scared, but this song would come to my mind EVERY YEAR, and I always pass. :D
Hearing the songs of Jewish children is like hearing the voice of God. Chills and emotion
FINALLY, a version that doesn't cut them off at the end on that last note
This song makes me think of the patients I care for that beat their various cancers. Oncology nursing has given me a front-row seat to some of life's most heartbreaking and joyous moments.
We appreciate the work you do for us.
This beautiful song almost always seems to bring a tear to my eye :')
I reallyyyyyyyy LOVE this song!!!!!! 🥺
😌I really loved the movie and Joseph king of Egypt 🥲
We did this in choir. I did the hebrew solo, gotta love those high notes!
This is one of my absolute favorite songs.
Ashira adonai ki ga-oh ga-ah!
Even though we don't all share the same beliefs, it's amazing how a song and movie can pull people together. Like two people could be fighting an all of a sudden someone plays this song and they start hugging and sobbing XD the first time I heard this song, I played it over like 10 times
This song helps lift my spirit when it is low
Transliteration and translation of the Hebrew lyrics sung by the ḇeney Yiśra’el (Children of Israel), as recorded in the book of Exodus, chapter 15, verses 1a, 11a-11b, and 13:

*Naḥiyṯa ḇa-ḥasdaḵā ‘am-zu ga’alta* ("You have led in your steadfast love the people whom you have redeemed;")

Kal V. Israeli here! Yep that’s all correcy
was doing laundry when I needed one more hanger, so I decided to check my closet one more time for a hanger & found one. There truly can be miracles!!!
Haha, yes, there truly can be!
Small and big miracles amen yes when you believe
Rosiells
XD too true.. Whether it's something small like that or surviving several turmeric events.. With hope, faith, and belief in both? Almost nothing is impossible.
Rosiells I came back from the dead once, truly a miracle
There can be miracles when you believe, and we believe...A Loved one of ours, our precious daughter, is not well. We beg you all to please pray for her body to be healed and restored to health and life...She is in pain and has been suffering for a long time, but she is a fighter...Thank you all so much and may God bless you all, always...
Psalm 107:19-20
John 1:14...
Jesus is the Miracle.
He healed EVERYONE who was brought to Him.
"He became a curse for us, so that we could receive the blessing" (Galatians 3:13-14)
Such a beautiful song. Made me cry...
I'm not religious in any way, but for me. This song just helps me get through all the challenges of 2020, it mainly helps me to stay calm and not worry (too much).
When I was little, I loved the Prince of Egypt. And this song was alway number 1. Sometimes I even rewound the video just to hear that song again.
This song is amazing!!I love God♥thank you god♥i am christians^^
***** north koreans are banned from christianity and the outside world in general..
KettiexD North Koreans might be. But the rest of the world, Christians still live and you still can be one, it’s a wonderful religion.
I have been straying from God and listening to this song really encouraged me to believe that God will direct my path. This is one of my favorite songs. I thank Jesus for leading me to listen to this song so that I may be right with him again :) Thank you Jesus :)
Every time I hear this song I always smile and sing along, makes my heart raise. I love this song so much!
I'm hebrew and as a child I was raised based on the bible and this movie...this is my favorite movie all of times
I love the children's part of the song. That always makes me teary-eyed. ^_^
This song makes me so happy , LOVE YOU LORD 🙏🏾❤️
Many nights, we prayed
With no proof anyone could hear
In our hearts, a hopeful song
We barely understood
Now we are not afraid
Although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains long
Before we knew we could
Chorus:
There can be miracles

*Hebrew singing*
*final strong Chorus*
I don't understand how anyone would dislike this video. This words spoke to me, and I cried because it was all true. When you believe, there CAN be miracles.
The Hebrew translates something like this:
A-shir-ra a-do-nai ki ga-oh ga-ah
(I will sing to the Lord for He has triumphed gloriously)
A-shir-ra a-do-nai ki ga-oh ga-ah
(I will sing to the Lord for He has triumphed gloriously)
Mi-cha-mo-cha ba-e-lim adonai
(Who is like You, oh Lord, among the celestials)
Mi-cha-mo-cha ne-dar-ba-ko-desh
(Who is like You, majestic in holiness)
Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-al-ta
(In Your love, You lead the people You redeemed)
Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-al-ta
(In Your love, You lead the people You redeemed)
A-shi-ra, a-shi-ra, A-shi-ra.......
The hyphens and the like are merely how to pronounce it.
I beieve someone else put the accurate spelling so I won't do that as well.
Just so you know!
Thanks so much for putting this song up!
This song is so amazing, it makes me cry!
"Hope is frail, but it's hard to kill" That sentence has so much meaning to it. It is perfectly stated. This entire song is just so amazing, and so uplifting when you're going through a hard time.
This was the one song I recall and it shall stick with me because my choir back in HS sung it and it was beautiful... 💙
I love this song and this movie this is my favorite movie of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This song is so beautiful it fills my heart and soul with kindness
4:05 even stronger emotional feeling
5:06 it ends; emotionally😭😭😭
It's a f***ing beautiful movie with great songs and great actors.
Anyone can love this, no matter what you believe.
I LOVE THIS SONG SOOOO MUCH, IT REALLY IS TRUE WHEN YOU BELIEVE THERE CAN BE MIRACLES. I LOVE JESUS OUR LORD AND SAVIOR.

This describes the life of me and my family. It's been so hard. One thing after another. In fact the other day i fell on my knees and started crying to God and asking him to help us. It's been so long sometimes I wonder if he even hears me.But this song gives me hope to continue thanking him and praying to God. Lord this song is beautiful..I'm crying while typing this...
15yrs old.
Belief on its own is cheap, only when backed by action will it achieve true miracles.
Gabriel Clark aye
Gabriel Clark I hope you know that the hebrews being let go was a miracle from God because Moses by himself could have not. Pharoah was as stubborn as a mule and would have not let the hebrews go. So some action needed to be taken by God because he has the power to change anybodys mind. So what I am saying is that belief is not cheap because if you believe in something it can be accomplished
and if you believe in God anything can be accomplished
Gabriel Clark Amen!
Anonymous Secret your so very right
Faith is belief on its own so... no.
My momma loved this song since watching prince of Egypt and I sang it to her when she was in her bed three days before she died after fighting cancer for two years. It’s such a bittersweet feeling whenever I hear this. She passed away on the 9th of November this year. Frida 1971-2019💕
I love this song, this movie, everything about it :)
Her voice is just so pure despite her relatively low volume. It really fits this song.
I love the Hebrew praises to God!
I haven't heard this song in years. I was surprised by how much it still moves me and even more surprised by how much I knew by heart.
I believe the God
Anisa Shabani me ro

Great inspiring hymn that has helped our son Godfrey with courage and hope to battle ALS - Lizzy and Gilbert Nazareth... Recommended to suffering mankind
i love this song! we are doing it for our high school choir class and i'm so exited to learn the Hebrew part!
I'm glad you posted the Hebrew as you did. Its almost a phonetic pronunciation, which helps those of us who are learning the song to have it easier.
This is my favorite song in the movie
My chorus sang for our concert we had a bunch of brass instruments and we sound really good. Put together with this song it was absolutely beautiful. I'm pretty sure everyone in the audience had goose bumps.
I think you did a wonderful job putting this together. This is by far one of my favorite songs ever, from one of the best movies ever made by Dreamworks. So what if you made mistakes, or found wrong information online. The point is, you tried. That's all anyone can ask. Thank you. 2 thumbs up from me for this video.
Such a beautful song! This song and movie will always have a special place in my heart.
I listened to a multilanguage version of this song so often that now I instinctively sing it in several languages. *shot.*
Wow! I don't remember this version, so I didn't know there was Hebrew in it. Makes it more authentic and charming. Thanks for reviving it! You're the princess.
I am crying right now,no joke, I'm really crying while typing this😭😭😭😭😢
What a powerful song.
