I believe you are on the brink of progressing from an amateur to a skilled chess player. To reach that level, you will need to maintain a consistent performance in your games... Easier said than done :) Good luck! You can do it!
A bitter draw, but good learnig material. It wasn't easy to figure out how to win this opposite coloured bishops endgame, so you shouldn't criticize yourself too harshly. You'll get it next time.
@@jameskenyon21 hey James!! I just listened back to the video with the volume turned up and I noticed that too, hmmm not sure how I can fix that, maybe I'll turn the sound of the computer down when I record as I suppose it might be feedback from the computer itself. I really should come out with a tip video as other people have asked about this, but maybe the biggest initial tip would be to focus on only two openings, one for black and one for white. You'll slowly start to learn them and understand the ideas behind them as you progress through each game
same reason you ask your dad for advice on how to cut the lawn, you could ask the lawn pro on youtube, but sometimes people like to ask people they relate to better... lmao
@@MisterCV_Chess I used to play it but I got so tired of people being booked for six years on it. I am finding people don't seem to be so solid against the Caro, but I may go back to the Sicilian
Fighting with that guy at 20:00 so funny
Nope, it wasn't funny in the slightest 😂😂😂
Unlucky on that one he held the draw well to be fair to your opponent. Those end games are tricky especially with low time
@@Will3Toes very tricky especially when it's opposite coloured bishops!
great video some great lessons in there review both games in detail on ur own time
Have a look at 100 endings book.
In the first chapter it goes into pawn endings.
I've already read it, but I guess I've forgotten a bunch, I need a refresher

@@levendlicht consistency is key... It's quite difficult to maintain, but getting in a good head space before playing def helps!
Thanks for supporting me bro!! Means so much!
Blunderman rides again! -7 for black! 🤣
@@Tommy12561 I'll come back with the force
Congrats on your latest tournament!
@@vivekchalasani thanks Vivek! I'll make a video this Saturday on it!
First game 103 moves, crazy! lol
It was a wild one for sure

@@omamoka63 I think keeping the pawns on the same colour as his bishop as well as activating my king before pushing was the key here
Hi Owen. Im struggling at 1600, any tips? Also I am hearing a beeping noise after every move in your video, is that just me?

Why would you ask this guy for tips when you can look at Danya or the Chessbrahs?

@ W mindset! Honestly I might try the Sicilian Out myself. Thank you Blunder Man
give it a shot, but figure out which version of the Sicilian you wanna try first.
@@Blunder_Man Definitely The Najdorf. Most difficult for black and white.
Hahaha
