Boy, this game's stages are so well rendered that when you do things you're not supposed to, it still works. Most games just go blank or dark and that's it. Best game ever. Great video, too
I remember watching this when I first got this game. Looking back at it, I realize that a some of these aren't really shortcuts and make it harder to do than the original way. But some are really actually pretty good and I actually used them to beat the game. Good job :)

Another shortcut, after the trick at 2:25, get Yoshi, run on the platform that is activated by the switch. Run right, Flutter Jump, and back flip off of Yoshi, and you'll be on the other platform. If you don't make it, flip the switch, wait for it to move, and you'll get more distance, I don't think you need to.

There's a glitch shown breifly in the video, but your spin attack refills after every wall jump, so you should have enough distance to get back to the wall and jump again multiple times
man seeing all these shortcuts and tricks has got me thinking: "why didnt the developers put in more easter eggs?" i mean with all the stuff luigi can do here, easter eggs would have been fun to find.
1:43 if you go the other way luigi was going until the end(of couse I also mean going up),you can long jump to the battle area stright away(like the trick in mario galaxy 1,but this is easier and in involes a long jump instead of a triple-spin jump.
Woah dude. These tricks are really cool, especially when you use shortcuts by abusing gravity / walking on walls like at 1:26 and 1:42. Also, all you have to do to "get" Luigi is beat the final bowser, you don't have to get all the stars (at least, thats what I did in mine)
I record with Hauppauge HD PVR. You need some cables and a programm for recording/ rendering your videos. (And edit, cut etc.) Just google it. ;-) It´s not easy to explain. Good luck. :)

u know on that giant turtle world i found a thing u can do like that but its much safer get the co star to hold back one turtle wait till there all in a line then jump on them

I remember when I was young I played galaxy 2 and then I saw this video and I was trying to do all of the tricks that I seen in this video. :)
At 9:24, it's better if you don't spin. When you spin, you start to fall, whereas when you do the long jump, you gain more distance before dropping.

This video was recorded with a Grabber called Grabby. It's from TerraTec.
It's a long time ago when I recorded with that Grabber, but I think it supports consols like the PS3, too.

You can take the castle one at 1:46 one step farther by going to the end of the castle and long jumping to take you straight to the boss planet.
