    On fujifilm, we need an update to the wide Camara. With the bluetooth option. Hopefully with a better glass lense too.

    • @DiegoFabro
      @DiegoFabro  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes! It’s 6 years old and the best instant camera in my opinion. An upgrade would be amazing. Don’t understand why Fuji doesn’t do it, there’s definitely a market for it

      Fuji makes some bizarre decisions, they keep adding features to the mini and removing them from the Square and Wide cameras. Rumour has it that fuji will be releasing a new wide camera in the next year or two and removing the exposure adjustment.....

    Funny to compare the Instax 300 to the Mamiya 7 at 0:39. But the Instax shoots 62x99 and the Mamiya only 56x69 🙂 The Now+ can do sharper if you gain more practice but the Polaroid quality is just softer and colour wise more off but the Instax can get overly contrasty. Also with Instax you can't shoot the sun or bright light because you get a black spot. So the two formats can live side by side well.

    • @DiegoFabro
      @DiegoFabro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Michael! I thought the size and shape of the Instax reminds me the Mamiya 7. Agree with you in everything, but I do like the contrast and saturation on the Instax way better than the Polaroid. But, yeah, they do compliment each other.

      @@DiegoFabro Yes it does remind of the Mamiya. If only Fujifilm was capable of doing a Mini 90 camera for Instax wide with flash off and longer exposures possible. Or even a kind of FP-1 rangefinder like the Mint RF70 but with better lens and a little cheaper! Fujifilm is totally asleep regarding Instax Wide. It would be an important tool for weddings and events.

    Para imagenes mas nítidas, uso el movil. En mi caso, si quiero imagenes impresas, el factor retro de la Polaroid es clave.

    When looking through your view finder, do you notice the image shifting around while moving the camera down or up?

    • @DiegoFabro
      @DiegoFabro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Gabriel! I don't actually see any shifting, but the viewfinder is definitely not the strength of this camera. I hope you can still use it.

    I'm undecided about Instax. Some images are really great "instant" photos, while other look like cheap digital images to me. Art is subjective I know for sure. I have come to conclusion that if you have digital camera background, crave sharpness and detail = Instax, if you have a Polaroid or artistic/creative mindset = Polaroid.

    • @DiegoFabro
      @DiegoFabro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks! The good thing about instant cameras is that they are not too expensive, so having more than one is not a bad idea and a bit of variation makes it more fun

    Polaroid Now+ is a bad camera. The Onestep+ or the older Onestep 2 are the ones to keep if you want to shoot the i-type. I just got myself into instant cameras but I already have the Instax Mini Evo, the SQ6, Polaroid One Steps 2, and from this video, I might get the Instax Wide 300 very soon!

      The regular now is a great camera for just fucking around.
      I think of it like this 70s vibe = p now
      90s vibe = instax wide :)

    • @DiegoFabro
      @DiegoFabro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Ben! I shot and export the video in 4K. For the Instax pics, I photographed them with a digital camera and then saved them as jpgs (6000 pix long, 72dpi) before adding to the timeline in Adobe Premiere

    Hi Diego are u Italian? Super video btw! 🔥 Do you think that Fuji 300 is the best cam for this price range? It seems super interesting from this video but are there other cams that maybe have more character resulting in more vintage looking photos?

      P.s: Does the Fuji Instax Square has the same quality? I like squared photos a little bit more

    • @DiegoFabro
      @DiegoFabro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Matteo! I’m Brazilian of Italian descent, but live in Dublin at the moment. I’m guessing you are Italian? The Fuji Instax 300 is my favorite so far, but I haven’t tried the older Polaroids SX70 and 600. I’m sure those are great. They’re truly vintage. There are many of Polaroids 600 for sale on eBay. That will be my next one.

    when you are using Instax Wide in low light what I do is put my finger on the light meter as the shutter will be opened for more duration and will take more light in it works most of the time for me.

    How about the polaroid now ( non +) ?

    • @DiegoFabro
      @DiegoFabro  ปีที่แล้ว

      They are similar, but NOW + has the app, which can be really helpful, specially for long exposures

    • @ghostoflazlo
      @ghostoflazlo 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's a great camera (have it myself). You don't get the app but I never missed it tbh, what I like about polaroid photography is the "no do overs" and "you get what you get" and the now take some great pics w a more 70s vibe :)) the film is EXPENSIVE so see if you can get some expired film to make it cheaper. See, it can affect the quality but not in a bad way for me I just got more personality to the pics :) just a lil tip

    qual a diferença entre a polaroid now e a polaroid now + (plus) ?🤔🤔

    • @DiegoFabro
      @DiegoFabro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Com a Polaroid now plus vc tem a opção de controlar a câmera pelo app, ou seja, vc tem uma grande variedade de controle manual, tipo longa exposição etc.
