Here I am, in hospital after an operation to remove colon cancer. Yesterday was a bad day with a few setbacks. Today I am blasting this song in my headphones. Tears streaming down my face, lips shaking. Because even when God knows my heart he has let me live. And he has slain my enemy. And as I stand here still in the battlefield I am still, knowing that He is God.

For 10 months from November 24, 2016-September 24, 2017 I worshipped to this song as I suffered immensely having no idea my suffering was leading to my new birth in Christ. This song, this psalm, is so special to me! The Lord of hosts was slaying my fear and unbelief, His word commanding me to be still, and know that He is God -His judgment of love upon me to turn me to Him in godly sorrow, repentance, and my salvation! I cannot thank Him enough for harming me so that He could save me. 😭 ❤️👆

And still you let them live", I shed tears. That's so true. Even though we humans are sinful but the Lord still finds a way to be with us, to guide us and to let us know He loves us.

This song and verse helped me thru my struggle with rear genetic disease first the lord showed me this verse then I stumble on this song by shane and shane long story short I was able to get a kidney transplant he is with in time of trouble or sickness.

He's with us in the fire and with us in the storm. Why do we care about the waters quenching us, when the LORD God Almighty is by our side?
He goes with us through all of life's battles.

That's just what God's saying.
From what I've learned from the Father and His Word, those who learn to truly worship Him in Spirit and Truth have a depth in Him and His Word that needs to be taught to the Body of Christ, especially when leaders of worship, just like David to the people of Israel.

This song helped me so much. I was having some stressful times at work and on my break I would take a walk around the parking lot and isten to music and this song came on and I felt such a peace in my soul.. Jesus - the Only Begotten Son of God - not an angel.
There is a difference between an angel of God and the Angel of Lord. God appeared in person in the Old Testament as the Angel of the Lord. Hebrews 1:3 tells us that Jesus Christ is the express image of God to us humans. Who is the express image of God to angels since He the Father is invisible as a Spirit? Jesus of course! Hear what the Lord said in John 17:3, "And now Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with you before the universe was." Do you remember the Angel who appeared to Joshua in Joshua 5:14. Do you also remember that Joshua bowed down and worshipped Him? No angel of God in the Bible received worship or allowed anyone to worship them. It is clear from this encounter that this was no ordinary angel. Hope this helps.
