Summary: Questions Relating to Competition with Other Games: Q (1:02): How will Anime Vanguards fare once Anime Adventures re-releases? A: It’s uncertain, but Anime Adventures’ return may renew interest in all tower defense games. This could help Anime Vanguards by reigniting overall player engagement in the genre. Q (4:40): How do you plan to compete with other anime tower defense games like Anime Adventures and Anime Reborn? A: We want to introduce new, unique game modes to stand out. We believe pushing beyond standard raids will help differentiate us. --- Questions Relating to the Development Process and Updates: Q (0:24): Will the update schedule be consistent from now on? A: This was the first time working on a game for most of the devs, and needed time to adapt to large playerbase demands. We have put measures in place and just need time for these improvements to show. Q (3:06): What happened to the 20 developers, and what could have been done better this update? A: Adding more developers doesn’t instantly speed up production, but allows for long-term planning and doing more at once. The small recent 1.75 update was a filler, not meant to be groundbreaking, just to fill the gap before the big update. Q (6:07): Why are you hesitant to add codes each update? A: Only Yuruzuu (the Owner of AV) can implement codes, and sometimes they’re unavailable at update launch. Codes do get added later once Yuruzuu is free. Q (9:36): Why release multiple small “x.xx” updates instead of focusing on big updates? A: Smaller updates are handled by a separate group, not slowing main development. It keeps players engaged without hindering major progress. Q (10:46): Why does it take longer for you to release updates than other games like Anime Adventures? A: We were inexperienced at first, causing early delays. We have improved and now aim for consistent update releases. Q (11:29): Will you balance quantity and quality, instead of only focusing on quality? A: Yes, we have started mixing small filler updates with larger quality ones. This keeps players active while bigger updates are being prepared. Q (12:44): Why do you keep making incremental updates (like 1.75) instead of just the main one (2.0)? A: Minor updates don’t detract from major updates due to separate development teams. It provides content in the meantime without delaying the big updates. Q (13:39): Can you try a quick one-week update followed by a big quality update to make the community appreciate quality more? A: We have essentially done that by releasing a small raid before the larger, more ambitious update. Q (17:11): Can you be more transparent, show progress, and use polls for community input? A: We have started offering hints, sneak peeks, and using polls. Increased transparency and engagement will continue. Q (20:00): How confident are you in Update 2, and can we have more codes? A: We are very confident in Update 2 and expect it to bring substantial, unique content. More codes will also be provided. Q (22:25): Will Update 2 arrive this month? A: Yes, Update 2 is scheduled for release this month. --- Questions Relating to Game Features and Design Philosophy: Q (8:44): Will you add more game modes later to reduce repetition? A: Yes, the plan is to create new, varied/unique game modes. Q (14:20): When will you focus on enjoyability over difficult, grindy content? A: We acknowledge the grind issue and plan to introduce more interactive, engaging modes. This should reduce repetitive, grind-heavy gameplay. Q (19:10): Why is the game dropping players? A: Tower defense games overall are losing traction, and repetitive content bores players. We also also ban hundreds of thousands bots every week, which lowers visible counts. --- Questions Relating to the Community: Q (1:39): Why is the community always dissatisfied with recent updates? A: Players have higher standards and dislike repetitive raid-style updates. We understands the need for more unique content and plans to deliver it. Q (2:19): How do you feel about the controversies around the game? A: It’s challenging to please a large, competitive community. While some negativity is unwarranted, We aims to improve and reduce controversies by delivering better updates. Q (5:09): When will you stop using “quality over quantity” to justify delays and lack of updates? A: Early delays were due to inexperience, but recent updates weren’t delayed. We aim for consistent, timely, high-quality content going forward. Q (6:50): How will you handle the volatile community that reacts strongly to every update? A: We accept that some anger is valid. They’ll focus on the legitimate concerns and work to improve, hoping to regain trust. Q (7:50): Do you still stand by Clay’s statement “we don’t care what the community wants”? A: Clay doesn’t speak for everyone and was only joking/trolling. We do care about community feedback. Q (15:10): Will you listen to community feedback and make changes? A: Yes, we have paying more attention now, using interviews, polls, and community input. Constructive criticism will guide improvements. Q (16:02): Which is more important: the devs’ vision or the community’s preferences? A: Both matter. We must care about what we have making and also consider what the players want. Q (20:55): Will community feedback help or hurt development, and will you take it seriously? A: Some feedback is just hate, but we will focus on constructive criticism. Valid input will help us improve despite negativity.
They do communicate, they even said in the discord they are active in the booster and higher level chats. The regular chats are too toxic and braindead
The big problem im noticing here is that a lot of community issues boil down to "well the community just didn't know the reality of x situation." In that case, why don't the devs just communicate more clearly with the community? There's always a lot of outrage over stuff like the 1.75 updates taking away time from the whole number updates, but if that seemingly isn't the case, why not make that clear?
This is my attempt to communicate more openly :) I did try to say that 1.75 did not take away from 2.0 with my announcement but it might not have been clear. That's why further clarity through stuff like this is necessary
@ I do appreciate any attempts at improving dev-to-player communication, so thank you regardless of the effectiveness; at least you’re trying. I think the best way to go forward as a team, however, would be to provide relatively consistent updates on development. It’s been proven time and time again that showing nothing to “build hype” generally ends up building up nothing but disappointment and frustration. Take Update 2 for example; it’s apparently a “massive update with loads of new content”, but the players have absolutely nothing to work off of. No hints, no sneaks, nothing. This then ends up just building irritation in the community, cause it feels like empty promises just being thrown around with nothing to show for them, and as such, regardless of what is actually in the update, players will be disappointed. Another thing would be to be much more professional; even if you’re Roblox devs, a title that definitely doesn’t conjure up an image of strict, professional people, the way a lot of devs conduct themselves on the discord is a bit off-putting to a lot of people, especially the “jokes” that are never clarified and are thus assumed to just be true. Same goes for the over-abundance of devs messaging goofy stuff in announcement channels. (One last side note, why even have the Accepted/Declined tags in the suggestions channel? It was recently stated that the devs “read and bookmark” suggestions amongst themselves, but only 3 suggestions have EVER been approved, with the majority being declined or ignored. I think this falls into the same communication problem mentioned previously; if a suggestion is made that the majority of devs find suitable for the game, why not ask the players about it? This both provides easy dev-player communication, and makes the direction the game will take in coming updates clearer.)
I think that AV can be a truly good game to play if he add´s/do this: 1; The fanbase of AV is big, so, being transparent can be a huge help for them, since players get hype when you updates something. So, showing your proguess, sneaks peaks, or just being transparent and say "Hey guys, problem X, Y and Z are slowing us from making the updates" or "The update will be delayed because X dev are sick or with some problem, wait a bit more!", can be such a help hand with the delays. 2; Make the game huge, like, add more gamemodes, like AA portals or inf castle, with this increase in size, the updates can be more diversificaded, like "Hey, in update X we will add some portals, in Upd Y we will add a new event, in upd Z we will add new legends states...etc", this will create a huge hype inside de fanbase because of the options they have, it will be a Event update? It will be a History mode increase? They won´t will know! That give the player hype and curiosity! 3; Give the comunity more rewards from being in the game, like: complete quantity G of challenges, complete quantity P of X stage, and give a reward! I´m not saying that the devs need to give a titanical huge super amounts of resources, i´m saying that, if the devs don´t create a reason that people can be excited playing the game, will happen the same that happened to Anime Defenders, will be infested with Macros/Afk players! Try to make that simple tasks, and the game will, and i believe in it, be great! But in the actual time, i won´t play the game, or just don´t play for something higher than 30 minutes with my friends. I believe in the game and the Devs, but this light in my eyes is turning into a "You sure you want to play this game?", and that is sad. I swear this message can reach the Devs of this game. Sorry if the my english is bad, i´m brazilian and here is not a great country for studing english, so, if any word or phrase are incorrect, just warn me. Good night for all seeing this comment :)
Tbh, it's a good interview. He puts a little bit of confidence back into the developers after losing it all with 1.5. Personally, I would have asked if they changed their mind on making the game "fun to play for longer than 20 minutes" statement (said before upd 1) as a counter to macros because update 1 was an infinite grind. 1.1 was boring ass boss rush. 1.5 was reskinned infinite. 1.75 is just raids again. They seem to be hyping update 2 up a lot, so maybe it will be fun for more than 20 minutes. If it's bad, the game is probably over.
@@funny-kx4dl dandadan "inf" is fun but it's just hella grindy that it counteracts it. I think that making it actually inf after getting to wave 50 would be better. There'd be more rewards over time as an incentive to play longer while lessening the repetition and making macros less desirable because making a long macro sucks.
In general, I'm not the one who designs updates. My job is more on the scripting and production side; I don't choose what the updates are, I just make them and make sure other devs are working on them properly. That being said, I made extra sure to push for 2.0 and future updates to have more variety in content
@kazisito Thank you for the response. It's little responses like this that make the developing team feel more human. Personally, I don't play Vanguards anymore, but I do want AV and all ATD games to be better. One of my main problems with most games now is they are all very similar, nothing really sets them out and makes them unique, so I'd love for Vanguards to take that step (and other games of course) with update 2. I'm not saying Vanguards hasn't set itself as an outlier with a lot of unique QOL, but core gameplay mechanics are the same (story, raid, legend stages, challenges, etc) so I'd love a change of pace.
In the setting of marvel rivals you can turn off that version of swinging. It allows you to zip and move easier if you want to swing like before you have to aim for walls and ceilings
This is cool! Hopefully they do this more often. My only critic is the fact that you sounded like an AI not reacting or trying to get more info out of their sometimes vague answers an interview is a fluid conversation not a stale interrogation
Great feedback from the dev, and a lot of my own questions had been answered. But that spider man game play was pretty good, i really like his kit and play him as well!
I honestly like when they don't sneak the update a long while before they release it, even if people start to get antsy. I also like this update, but there were quite a few bugs, and it was way too tough for a casual player like me to solo, but that's why you can play with multiple people!
I think overall the difficulty wasn't actually that bad to a degree, people thought Sukuna was too harsh but people quickly found out a strategy that made it much easier, sometimes we have to experiment with alot of units because Crocodile and Julias are extremely good right now with this
@charon1252 that's nice until the update falls flat. It's better to have a little less hype and the fans know what to expect, rather than have everyone quitting and making hate videos about an update they didn't expect.
"Nothing has been delayed" they released 1.75 on a Sunday night, when on the previous interview they said they aim for updates to be on fridays If they make more community polls, and more sneaks, it will help. Instead of releasing it blindly and having the community trash on the game for a bunch of things at once, it'd help to show them before releasing and see the feedback first.
For the second part, that's what we've started doing! I'm not sure who said that Fridays were the aim, it's just broadly the weekend, at least that what it is now.
@kazisito Andre had said in an interview with LorTomo "we never intend to release updates on a sunday, updates are planned for Friday or saturday". Has that changed now? You're right, it was nice to see the devs involving the community with the polls. While I understand not wanting other games to steal your ideas, you're also shooting your own foot by releasing something which is unknown if the majority of players will be against. Glad to see the progress!
@@Dertlecup "Has that changed now?" I guess. Andre doesn't pace/scope the updates anymore. That's more of my lane at this point. Andre, Dreamy, and Funnel still design the updates though, they just aren't in charge of organization necessarily anymore. "you're also shooting your own foot by releasing something which is unknown if the majority of players will be against." Agree. I think the designers just go based on what was acceptable for AA updates as they were all AA testers, but it's December 2024 and people expect more. Hopefully the polling would help mitigate the issue of not fully understanding people's expectations.
well the owrst thing is they hide in the booster chat from the normal general they could also jsut do a stage every week to let us know how things are going and maybe some question aint that hard ^^
quality over quantity until the 2 last updates were both creativeless, last update had boring units, and this update has the same design as the demon slayer raid. right now we gave up quantity and still dont have quality
I disagree to a degree, granted Update 1.5 wasn’t that good the event that they gave us was actually different when you factor in the modifier cards. The units themselves were different as well the problem was simply stats but they were actually fun and different units.
But I will agree with that with Update 1.75, it functioned exactly as Update 0.5 though, but at least the units are good and fun especially Funny Valentine and Johnny
@@kazisito Hey Kazi, thanks for the interview, good questions were asked and good answers were received. Do you plan to add content other than animes, like from mangas, manhwas and so on? (personally i'm waiting for kagurabachi and gachiakuta)
I honestly liked the responses only thing I would have liked to hear more about is the whole macro situation because they make it so you have to macro the game while at the same time making it insanely hard to do so if not impossible
Pery, where do I begin? Your brilliance radiates in everything you do, leaving those around you in awe. Your relentless drive, creativity, and ability to inspire others elevate every endeavor you undertake. Truly, you’re the kind of individual who doesn’t just meet expectations-you redefine them.
14:04 "I like this question because this is just what we done" The question was why not bring an update in 1 week. The update took about a month basically, had tons of bugs (couldnt play, enemies spawned underground), no codes, no nothin basically
Did you even watch the video? or do you lack comprehension? He answered everything... They're focusing on quality over quantity still so it took a while and the quality WAS good... the comment there said "Why not release an update in 1 week without worrying about quality and they'll understand why they focus on quality" you are the literal clown that comment was talking about... Also no codes because the only one person that CAN add codes was unavailable at the moment but as soon as he came back they added some
At this point people just have to get used to small updates every 2-3 weeks and big updates every like 2 months. Guys it takes time to make a quality update remember that
@@NzNoob909 I’m not saying it was a bad update, in fact you should be happy its somewhat compared to an average AA update. But people are acting as if their full updates are insane lmao, absolutely not, just because it smells half the amount of shit n fart than the mini updates, doesn’t mean it still doesn’t smell like shit.
@@critical_6164The average AA update was a insane portal grind ( 282 portals for my gilga), or insane legend stage grind 113 for my pain, or a insane raid grind 76 for my buu, that game was just an insane grind every update, with a new game mode like every 3-4 updates. I got tired off it after hearing the new Christmas update was just going to be another portal grind so i quit. Av also has the same insane grind, but hopefully that can actually add new game modes unlike AA.
Idk if im the only one who thinks about this, probably, but I feel like the evo system should be changed cuz it's so repetitive and boring to grind essence stones every single time.
Most TD games currently have the same systems except for like ALS and ASTD but most recent TD games have the same systems i would suggest playing ASTD although they have systems similar to legend stages there is no need for stars/essence/fruit.
Atleast from this interview we were clarified that the updating part is divided into two groups one for major and one for minor Minor update group:- This group is to cover the gap between major updates so that the players can engage themselves with the small updates rather than waiting for the major update with a a month time. Major update group:- While the minor update group is keeping the community engaged, this group is working for the major update and is not mixed up with the entire thing. ngl I kinda like this groupism thing
good vid btw, i still do not feel good to play the game, the worst thing imo is that i cant even max a character without afking for hours on a stage, it just makes so hard to poay the tournaments while each one hav a different meta character
''no time has been taken away from main development with these .5/.25 updates'' but update 1 was 20 october and its now december 10th and upd 2 still hasnt released and is expected in 1/2 weeks...so 2 and a half month for main updates? do these devs wanna compete or are they just gonna whip out the white flag and strip down bootie naked when AA comes back? and another thing, we already had no halloween update...and since upd 2 the huge update that we waited 2 and a half months for is releasing either next week or the week after does that mean there also wont be a christmas update?
@@dtbhope that completely removed the point of it being a halloween update, if its not in halloween... it becomes just another update by simple logic and u can call it that if you want but its just wrong lol
Icl its way better for a game to take more time into there game then releasing unfinished updates, no offence but this is what als does, they promied no lag yet the lag is crazy. Thats why i appreciate vanguards alot more.
My question is, do they have a tester team, if yes, what are they doing bruh, like almost every update, something breaks, sure, sometimes the bug is something people wouldn't think to do, but this update had major bugs, like a new unit not doing any damage, questline being broken, banner bug (tbf that was when the update just came out so it's expected), and sure they do fix these within a day or two, but come one, for a game that prioritizes quality over quantity, you'd think the releases will be a little more polished
No matter what, Im gonna set my expectations low for upd 2.0, my reason is if the update IS actually good, then i will be surprised and happy. If it's bad, I won't be too disappointed as I have set my expectations low. Im doing this because I set my expectations too high for 1.75 just because im a jojo fan
they should really consider making the game pace itself faster. The Dandadan infinite takes so long to complete and gives such little rewards. Maybe make waves go by faster or less units, but higher hp. Or even buffing rewards slightly since more units are being released. Idk, but the point is the general speed of the game is too slow and this goes with most roblox tower defense games.
I think faster pacing will just lead to people expecting more content that is realistically possible because they get through stuff faster. I think the main focus should be on not making it *feel* like a grind and making updates more creative
@@spongebobiceconeYeah no shit they have to defend themselves, if they didn’t defend themselves then they’d face even more controversy. Clay obviously meant it, but they cant just outright say that. Are you still in preschool lmao?
Assuming this is about the expanded dev team. While that's definitely part of it, it's also that you can't just slap multiple people onto one thing. People have different stylistic variations, meaning we can't just slap 4 different moves of the same character onto different people for example and expect it to look consistent. It's impractical and to a point impossible to have multiple people working on the same asset. All we can do is get more made at once in preparation
I think we found there problem, why aren’t more people working on the main update? If you get more hands on a project it will eventually be a faster process overtime, I don’t see why they’re splitting the dev team into 2 instead of just working on the main updates which is what people want. This game hasn’t even reached update 2, we are still in the earliest development, we haven’t got out of it yet.
this so true portals from aa and raids in av basically the same thing small chance for a unit and use the things from portals or raids for evo materials
In honest for like the update, its good but the time for the release is very lack. Like it took them a while to release, and they need to sometimes take notes from the critic of the game. Genuinely, I Despise the gems of how i should get it, it does bring the vibes of Anime Adventure to the point. But its just felt dull for me as it took so long and somewhat confuse for me to get it. Yes you can get it through stories, Raid, Challenges, and infinite or misc (Infinite Castle sort of). But they didn't had the quest for the infinite mode. Its just from my opinion and perspective, so please no hate
No. The main team has been directly involved in everything up to 1.5. I changed things so that we are focused on 2.0 while 1.75 was being made. This will continue for future updates.
Why is no one asking about exclusive units, if they’re gonna stay in the game for MONTHS they might aswell release them as a new rarity or just a mythic, calling it exclusive and letting it stay in the game for over 2 months İS diabolical.
@@AcePlayzRBLXWhat he is trying to say is that with more people on the team they can work on the .xx updates while still working on the next big update
I assume they meant that the more people they have, the more other content those devs can work on. Cramming all 20 into the same project doesn't help a lot with productivity if they all work on the same update(ex: dev 1 works on a unit design, dev 2 joins to work on same unit design, maybe it's a bit faster because they make different parts of it, but there's just a point where adding dev 7 doesn't make the process faster, it's just way more confusing for the devs to communicate.) From my interpretation, the other people work on future updates so that the future ones release faster(group 1 works on upcoming upd, group 2 works on the one after the upcoming, thus "doing more and once". This most likely isnt an accurate portayal of the actual workflow, but group 2 is just a placeholder for the new devs). Of course, they still can't update that much, the group 2 made up in the previous example is most likely smaller than group 1 working on the upcoming update. Also, 16 days for a minor update isn't that bad, honestly that's probably partly due to the extra devs they have on hand. Development takes a long time, especially when the community is almost always unsatisfied and it feels like anything you do will end up being complained about by thousands. The fact that they had 4 separate units, 2 maps, and the steel ball mechanic ready is insane in that amount of time(maybe not steel ball, it's basically reskinned talisman) considering that they obviously try to make the units nice looking. Even acknowledging bugs(which is probably due to a lack of bug testing due to the community rushing the devs for an update), I really believe that the devs are trying their best to get updates out, and it's better to patiently wait for update 2 to drop before we complain even more about it.
i think also the other reason why the game count is dropping this updt cuz the content is not for new players or like for players who dont play everyday
Honestly the stuff i dislike the most are the artificially made bad units they make where the passives are just too gimmicky to actually see any purpose in using them, which made the entire dandadan update a pass for me as all the new units (besides diavolo) were basically useless
Regarding the Anime Adventures coming back and players moving from AV to AA, Anime Adventures is gonna be the exact same as Sparking Zero. Hyped WAY too much, so when the game came out people started playing and realised that the game is not that good and stopped playing. The same thing is gonna happen to Anime Adventures. If you play Anime Vanguards you are playing a better version of AA, mechanics and animations wise. So when all the AV players will try the "Father of ATDs" they are gonna realise that it's just a normal tower defense that was hyped to death.
I think the same reason they could not add codes. Not all devs get access to controlling the banner, and maybe the developer that was in charge of the banner system was not available. Above all that no update has had increased new mythic chances...
They did this so that you dont get the units instantly and and evolve them and everything as soon as the game updates cus then yall will just complain about there being nothing to do
@@kazisito Wouldn't that mean that it's a bad time to update? Wouldn't it be required for him to be on at the time of the update so you could also release codes and banner changes included with the update. Alteast from my point of view it would be more fitting if he was online during that time but idk
I feel like most of the questions that are told are very redundant and or don’t criticize any of the major/small problems that AV has, it’s j “community this, when updates this” or “why update so bad” “why no more codes” etc etc. I feel like you should start pinpointing some better questions then some rando who wants the game to be updating quicker j cs.
the point why people (at least me) dont like update is not bc of small cotents , but why they have to do a raid that u literally need a monarch to complete it and even using that is hard, just why put a debuff of dmg on evry unit that was meta bruh
Personally I think Halloween ruined TD games this year. All if not most games, had Occarun. I know it was the hyped up anime during October. But every game adding him really ruined it for me AV's Halloween update in particular was pretty jarring.
Can you ask them this question why doesn't Alucard have a pity I'm saying this because in every tournament if you don't have Alucard you can't compete with other players and I find it funny they just switched the element of the current tournament because so few players had broly and I find it annoying when they say we want everyone to have a fair chance but they completely ignore Alucard btw I'm 1.9 million gems without Alucard and most of my units are godly or z+ stats but that doesn't matter because of not having a certain unit
@@RickAstley-gl4bl there's no way choso can compete with Alucard tell me do you see choso as a replacement for Alucard in tournaments no I wonder why maybe because Alucard does more than just bleed
@@datboifrogi8477 search up this week's tournament strategies and look at all the high scores i guarantee you all of them have Alucard he's been meta in all the tournaments
I don’t understand what he meant by “having 20 devs doesn’t make it faster it just makes it so we can do more at one time” isn’t doing more at one time literally doing something faster?
Well yes faster in the long run but not initially. That's why he said the impact of having 20 devs won't be seen at the start. For example, imagine out of those 20 devs, 10 worked on the update 1.75 while the remaining 10 works on update 2. This way they can work on different updates simultaneously while sticking to a consistent schedule. But there's still a 10 dev work force between each update meaning the actual work witin each update won't be worked on at the speed of 20 devs, but 10
and they keep saying our dev team isn’t use to big scale projects? why did it take 4 weeks to release a boss event and 1 unit (sukuna)? they are just lying lmao
Summary:
Questions Relating to Competition with Other Games:
Q (1:02): How will Anime Vanguards fare once Anime Adventures re-releases?
A: It’s uncertain, but Anime Adventures’ return may renew interest in all tower defense games. This could help Anime Vanguards by reigniting overall player engagement in the genre.
Q (4:40): How do you plan to compete with other anime tower defense games like Anime Adventures and Anime Reborn?
A: We want to introduce new, unique game modes to stand out. We believe pushing beyond standard raids will help differentiate us.
---
Questions Relating to the Development Process and Updates:
Q (0:24): Will the update schedule be consistent from now on?
---
Questions Relating to Game Features and Design Philosophy:
Q (8:44): Will you add more game modes later to reduce repetition?
A: Yes, the plan is to create new, varied/unique game modes.
Q (14:20): When will you focus on enjoyability over difficult, grindy content?
A: We acknowledge the grind issue and plan to introduce more interactive, engaging modes. This should reduce repetitive, grind-heavy gameplay.
Q (19:10): Why is the game dropping players?
A: Tower defense games overall are losing traction, and repetitive content bores players. We also also ban hundreds of thousands bots every week, which lowers visible counts.
---
Questions Relating to the Community:
Q (1:39): Why is the community always dissatisfied with recent updates?

I don’t understand why the devs don’t just do this more. This one video makes me wanna play the game more. JUST COMMUNICATE.
Perry liking all others comment but not this
Cause the community is toxic af it makes you scared to talk to it there were even rumours that the devs hate the community
Possibly because they're under a contract of sorts like AA devs
They do communicate, they even said in the discord they are active in the booster and higher level chats. The regular chats are too toxic and braindead
Looking at the replies, yeah it's partly that the community is intimidating, but in general I've wanted to be more open and this is the first step
This is my attempt to communicate more openly :)
I did try to say that 1.75 did not take away from 2.0 with my announcement but it might not have been clear.
@@Opticaal A lot of the server stuff I have no clue about. I do think we should show more myself but at the end of the day that's a team decision.
I think that AV can be a truly good game to play if he add´s/do this:
1; The fanbase of AV is big, so, being transparent can be a huge help for them, since players get hype when you updates something.
If it's bad, the game is probably over.
yea bro these updates have just been more anti macro than fun
@@nise6699 yes agreed
In the setting of marvel rivals you can turn off that version of swinging. It allows you to zip and move easier if you want to swing like before you have to aim for walls and ceilings
This is cool! Hopefully they do this more often. My only critic is the fact that you sounded like an AI not reacting or trying to get more info out of their sometimes vague answers an interview is a fluid conversation not a stale interrogation
Yeah I'd have appreciated some followup questions, but no shade! First time for everything
I think overall the difficulty wasn't actually that bad to a degree, people thought Sukuna was too harsh but people quickly found out a strategy that made it much easier, sometimes we have to experiment with alot of units because Crocodile and Julias are extremely good right now with this
The bugs were definitely annoying though absolutely.
@charon1252 that's nice until the update falls flat. It's better to have a little less hype and the fans know what to expect, rather than have everyone quitting and making hate videos about an update they didn't expect.
@@Dertlecup that's fair, I didn't think of it that way.
"Nothing has been delayed" they released 1.75 on a Sunday night, when on the previous interview they said they aim for updates to be on fridays
If they make more community polls, and more sneaks, it will help.

Idk if im the only one who thinks about this, probably, but I feel like the evo system should be changed cuz it's so repetitive and boring to grind essence stones every single time.
Bro, try other anime tower defense and feel the difference. Which one more hard and boring
Most TD games currently have the same systems except for like ALS and ASTD but most recent TD games have the same systems i would suggest playing ASTD although they have systems similar to legend stages there is no need for stars/essence/fruit.
The devs have kind of increased the grind due to the macroing reputation. They evo inflation was insane for update 1.5 from release
Alot of people also stopped playing Anime Tower defense games just to take a break and to be ready and fit again for AA
Atleast from this interview we were clarified that the updating part is divided into two groups one for major and one for minor
Minor update group:-
This group is to cover the gap between major updates so that the players can engage themselves with the small updates rather than waiting for the major update with a a month time.
Major update group:-
While the minor update group is keeping the community engaged, this group is working for the major update and is not mixed up with the entire thing.

W devs for doing this, i just hope some of these things were said in the discord
Stop using marvel rivals gameplay you cant keep going away with this
I have a question, why is there a limit to doing act 5 in the JoJo raid?
they should really consider making the game pace itself faster.

Assuming this is about the expanded dev team. While that's definitely part of it, it's also that you can't just slap multiple people onto one thing. People have different stylistic variations, meaning we can't just slap 4 different moves of the same character onto different people for example and expect it to look consistent. In honest for like the update, its good but the time for the release is very lack. Like it took them a while to release, and they need to sometimes take notes from the critic of the game. @@AcePlayzRBLXalso it was 2 weeks lol
Even acknowledging bugs(which is probably due to a lack of bug testing due to the community rushing the devs for an update), I really believe that the devs are trying their best to get updates out, and it's better to patiently wait for update 2 to drop before we complain even more about it.

the point why people (at least me) dont like update is not bc of small cotents , but why they have to do a raid that u literally need a monarch to complete it and even using that is hard, just why put a debuff of dmg on evry unit that was meta bruh
Personally I think Halloween ruined TD games this year. All if not most games, had Occarun. I know it was the hyped up anime during October. But every game adding him really ruined it for me AV's Halloween update in particular was pretty jarring.
anime reborn have fast update but the units looks good
"LOVELY DEVELOPER!" dont make me luagh
*Laugh
I am the loveliest and also the prettiest.
@ jokes aside, Av is my first tower defense game I’ve played and I really want you guy/girls to succeed.
22:37 The Interview was good but this Ultimate was so sad
Can you ask them this question why doesn't Alucard have a pity I'm saying this because in every tournament if you don't have Alucard you can't compete with other players and I find it funny they just switched the element of the current tournament because so few players had broly and I find it annoying when they say we want everyone to have a fair chance but they completely ignore Alucard btw I'm 1.9 million gems without Alucard and most of my units are godly or z+ stats but that doesn't matter because of not having a certain unit
It is meant to be a rare unit with a lot of grinding, what's the point of it being a Banner secret if it has pity?
On top of that, Alucard is only needed because of Bleed. Choso has it too
@@RickAstley-gl4bl there's no way choso can compete with Alucard tell me do you see choso as a replacement for Alucard in tournaments no I wonder why maybe because Alucard does more than just bleed
You don’t even need alucard on this tournament
@@datboifrogi8477 search up this week's tournament strategies and look at all the high scores i guarantee you all of them have Alucard he's been meta in all the tournaments
5:10 im famous imma call my mom
8:31 hollon clay 😍😍
baddie
I don’t understand what he meant by “having 20 devs doesn’t make it faster it just makes it so we can do more at one time” isn’t doing more at one time literally doing something faster?
maybe on the decision-making department, but it doesnt make sense either way
Well yes faster in the long run but not initially. That's why he said the impact of having 20 devs won't be seen at the start. For example, imagine out of those 20 devs, 10 worked on the update 1.75 while the remaining 10 works on update 2. This way they can work on different updates simultaneously while sticking to a consistent schedule. But there's still a 10 dev work force between each update meaning the actual work witin each update won't be worked on at the speed of 20 devs, but 10
will av add trading?
Yeah base andre previous interview
and they keep saying our dev team isn’t use to big scale projects? why did it take 4 weeks to release a boss event and 1 unit (sukuna)? they are just lying lmao
Bro did a whole 20 minutes post game interview 😂
Ah yes the devs have never lied to us...
i just want them to nerf the last stage a little bit so i can enjoy this hated upd
Those devs sound so zesty wth
So AV community just misunderstood?
11:43 yup can definitely see that 😺
