I’ve melted the Desert Blooms, Aloe and Agave and Stargazing. Of those 3 my favorite was Stargazing and my husband liked the Desert Blooms. The Aloe and Agave was not bad but a little too “green” for me. Thanks for the Fall Winter previews. They look fantastic. I agree bring me those Holiday fragrances right now!
@@Candyflames123 I am hearing reports that the Horchata one is slightly perfumy which I wouldn’t care for. I will probably give it a try anyway because everybody’s nose is different.
Autumn collection sounds amazing! After a few years of mostly musky/aftershave scented candles for autumn I’m excited for more foodie sounding candles 😍 Woodland weekend memories, Parisian Brunch and Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl sound promising!! Still hoping for a return of a Candy Cane Lane type peppermint candle - more vanilla and less chocolate peppermint - at some point in the future 🤞🏻
I purchased one and took it back. I did keep the other 3 of the Desert collection, though - they're all wonderful, in different ways. But I agree, the classic single wick jars are not throwing. I have the Horchata in that format and it can only throw in a small bathroom. The Aloe and the Stargazer I got in the 2-wick signature tumblers and they throw great.
So you didn’t like this one then I take it. Glad you like the other 3 shame about the horchata in the classic jar, I agree the signatures throw way better! Can’t wait to try Stargazing!!
I think this one is OK, but not exceptional. Living in California and close to Arizona, these are not authentic "Desert Blooms" fragrances, so one has to suspend reality in order to enjoy. That said, they're certainly acceptable! @@Candyflames123

:) I would if I could! For some true, authentic desert fragrances I can recommend two different companies located in the West - not sure if they ship to the UK (I'm actually checking right now) but I can promise you the scents would be like nothing you've smelled from Yankee! @@Candyflames123
Desert Blooms is one that I will definitely pick up. II'm a huge fan of Fresh Cut Roses and also the discontinued Rises of Cliff Walk. Both the autumn and festive collections look amazing! Thanks for the candle review and preview of the upcoming collections.

But I want to know more about them first and your reviews always help me in my decision finding. I am so glad you also mention the throw, that is a key informationto me! I will be burning this one this Spring basically March April or May. I like the scent on cold. My candle list for Spring: Yankee's Home Inspiration Sunny Cotton, Sunny Poppy, Yankee's Desert Blooms, Sunny Lemon, Art In The Park, Macintosh (pillar), Lavender Vanilla, Woodwick's Solar Ylang, Scentworx Dandelion Daydreams, Homeworx Sueded Rose. Looks like nice scents this year.
I love how you have a candle list I kind of need to do this myself so I can make sure I use all the ones that I want to for that season, as like Christmas is over and I didn’t burn all the ones that I had planned in my head to burn!

I have Desert Blooms ordered and it should be arriving any day now. To be honest I wasn’t too excited by it as I just assumed it would have a generic flowery scent. But your description makes it sound a bit more interesting. I like the sound of the sage and woody notes. Thanks for sharing the 2024 offerings for Autumn and Christmas, they sound original and intriguing!
@@Candyflames123 I really like it. It’s more complex than I expected. While I usually don’t love strong rose scents I do love the subtle hint of rose petals here. Also the bergamot adds a very pleasant note. Along with Aloe & Agave it’s my favourite of the new spring collection.
