@@carlos82067 you mean like in almost all the romance fantasy manwha/manga most of the time being "i married a northern duke with no emotions to save me from my family/future husband he's cold to everyone but me and i love him but why is he so kind to me he cant love me no way its a contract marriage" oh god im so tired of that stuff now probably why i like the anime of "horimiya" so much the relationship happens quite quick but the story carries on and explores the things that happen around them like their friends relationship aswell and the building of the relationship instead of just they're dating now the end

Apropos of absolutely nothing. But there is a phrase used I wanted to comment on. Manga says that she sat "Kiddy-corner" to the MC.
I found that interesting.
See, I know it as kitty-corner, catty-corner or cat-cornered. Which makes sense since it is derived from the French, cater-corner. Cater as a verb meaning to put something diagonally. So naturally to English ears, it sounded like catty...and evolved to kitty.
But I'd never seen it said as kiddy-corner before.
Told you that it was apropos of absolutely nothing...

do people really have these simplified emotions irl (I mean, receiving a selfie if a girl is a weird thing but definitely wouldnt make someone jump, and being made fun of wouldnt make someone feel down - well, maybe that isnt a good example for someone like me, I just dont bother abt what other people say unless its helping somehow) -> well, maybe its a sort of writing trope that I'm not aware of (like the indirect kiss stuff -> its weird when high schoolers do it, hell, its weird even for middle schoolers) -> then there is also these characters whose whole "personality" is being hostile towards the mc for no reason, its not a tsundere but just hostile, there are many people like this irl but they ussually have a reason and their hostility is consistence and doesnt switch every few minutes -> there is also the unreasonable instant love ability that the mc has, even if you're handsome, walking under an umbrella or giving a girl a haircut will NOT make her fall for you, in fact, most of the time, it might actually backfire but thats another thing altogether...
