After much consideration I've come to the conclusion that this is THE greatest Cardiacs cover. I don't know what I'd do for a whole album of Cardiacs covers like this. Give yourselves a pat on the back you belly-eyed bleeders.
Wow, Cardiacs fans really do make the best covers. I kept my eyes glued to the intro because I totally knew that I was going to hear that HELLO come in at some point. Like others have said before that guitar solo was a fabulous spectacle, but the vocals and production were also absolutely worthy of laudation! You sure looked like you had fun making this.
Fantastic cover, thanks! Up there with Sterbini, Bic (Is This The life) and Trudy (Day Is Gone). The legend grows and grows. Amazing to watch. So sad Tim can't see all this love. But he knew it.
Listening to this again and you guys really, really have "Got It" - you have captured the 80's Cardiacs in all their Terror and Glory - much, much LAUDATION
excellent cover of one of my favourite tunes, (however, they're all so good anyone one could easily be my favourite!) instrumental and photographic work was brilliant, also nice hair.
see like.... this is great, really well done version of Dive - BUT - there's something missing and I think it's that cardiacs were always a little bit shite. Tim's voice was wank, they all played wank instruments quite badly for the most part and it was all recorded on a bit of wet paper that was left in a well to go mouldy. but still, OH THE GRAND OLD DUKE OF YORK
I actually agree with you here! I don't think I could authentically recreate the cardiacs sound you're talking about, I just don't have that exact "off" touch that Tim had.
@@joeyfrevola5106 you're not an insane english alcoholic and you've been taught how to play. The beauty of Cardiacs is that they were always punching above their weight

I absolutely love how theatrical this is! Surely one of the greatest Cardiacs covers ever!

wow that solo killed me! (in the most positive way). Awesome cover !
Thank you! and rest in peace.
This is honestly one of the best covers I've ever heard, let alone of a Cardiacs song. And a wonderful tribute to Tim.
You're too kind :)
So great to see people playing this extraordinary music and keeping it alive! 👍
Unbelievable cover! Worthy of laudation!
Excellent cover. Love the Lynchian opening sequence.
Kinda like how it would've sounded if it was on Sing to God rather than "almaahatwww", awesome job!
Pretty much exactly what I was going for :D
Not sure why it took so long for this to pop up for me but here I am. Subbed!
Really exceptional, good singing, good playing... Bravi :)
Cardiacs gig-goer since 1984 ..This is fucking brilliant

Woah! I love the way the beat switches to more of a quintuplet swing feel at 3:22. It works perfectly with the melody!

F*** yes!!! :D
Fantastic! Even better than your Its A Lovely Day cover. I hope you plan on doing more.
Well Done and as much as I love Cardiacs I actually think your version is better, got a bit more power to it.
The beanie and melodica game is strong with this one but you didn’t clip your strings so I can only give it a 9/10
R.I.P Tim Smith
I dock two points for that myself. Thanks! :)
Antkind!!!
This is my favorite comment I've ever gotten.
HELLOH!!
Been a fan of this cover since it came out, and I think I spotted you in a band I just found out about called Kyros?!
Can you confirm? 😅
