I personally was close to DNF-ing Shadow and Bone too but I pushed through it since I wanted to know everything about the world that Six of Crows is set in. S&B does get better in book 2 though, and I mainly only kept reading for Nikolai. I really LOVE Six of Crows and I LOVE Crooked Kingdom more so I can’t wait for you to read them and give us your thoughts! Also, your eyes are really pretty :)
