Oh goodie, ANOTHER Class 47, just what we need. And the 86/2s have been pushed out another year? Fantastic!
Wouldn't have been so bad if it was a good one!! As one reviewer put it, "its an absolute disaster".
You can always count on Heljan to make a complete dogs breakfast of it.
Brilliant video
Lovely loco, great detail and a superb livery... but WAAAAAAAAAAY too expensive for a non-DCC version.
Lovely loco, little out of my price range, my Lima 47's still running strong although not really detailed but all railways are fun, J
An interesting video. The cabs are too narrow, the bodysides are too tall, part of the roof is wrong, and more.
I was planning to get a class 48 as per the Model Rail exclusive that Heljan are doing. But having seen it at Model World Live, the bodyside wrongness is even more visible on two-tone green...
Here's hoping Bachmann do a 48.
Very good video.
hi, great video, but too expensive for me, will stick with hornby silver seal one
Mike must be well paid, getting a few of these😂
Excellent models though, not a toy for my grandson
Looks overly narrow to me at the front ends .
LOl how much?
I know, Heljan are really reaching on this one and by all accounts its a flawed model compared to the Bachmann offering.
@@sapphirejunction8993 They will get exactly zero purcheses from me.
It's in the video.
At least this Heljan 47 sounds way better than the Bachmann factory sound version which is absolutely awful, I know because I have one.
So well done to Heljan on the sound, unfortunately the initial sky high prices will bury this model considering it has many tooling flaws compared to the Bachmann.
Nothing wrong with the Bachmann 47 I use to drive them at Sheffield.
It would have been good to actually see the loco rather than 7 mins of a rake of coaches going around
We provide a mix of everything. It's just as important to see it hauling a full train with ease as it is to see the close up detail shots. 😊
The old Heljan 47 looked wrong, this latest edition still looks wrong! great shame. There are too many vlogs who say the same faults, if I modeled in OO scale I would be very disappointed with these models, which are nowadays are not cheap but I think some of the older models from other manufacturers are better! Sorry but I must admit I struggle with Jonathan's style he often puts me on edge I just can't relax on his presentation or style. I watched the Accurascale banana vans just felt it was wrong or missing in content!
Wrong doors on top for a start.
How are manufacturers getting away with these rip off prices?
Because sufficient people are willing to pay these prices. Also, because the price is clear, the product is not mis-represented and nobody is compelled to buy it, the price should not be described as rip off.
The NSE livery looks good , but the green version is an absolute disaster, windscreen wipers like broom handles, Route indicator box resembling a 72" Flat screen digital TV, over size windscreens, the list is endless and as for the roof, totally wrong on all versions, a very biased video, in favour of the manufacturer and absolutely nothing fantastic about anything on the model, Heljan charging customers at your NEC event in Danish Krona tut tut tut, very very bad, sorry this model gets 0 out of 10 and one that should be avoided at all costs, but that is only my personal opinion as a modeller.
It just isn't right? So many detail faults and so overpriced! These will fall off in price as the word gets out there about how bad it is!
Bought many of the older version 47's and was left out of pocket with NO COMPENSATION from Heljan after spending a fortune on a fleet of 47's after the well known failure of that product. Never spent another penny on HELJAN and never will. Rip-off merchants.😡
