Great parody cover of the decade most of us grown up in. though I wished you mentioned the other parts important to the 1990s pop culture, The Disney Rennaissance and Pixar's start with Toy Story.
You raise a good point! There were so many more I left out that I wanted to put in! I blame the song for not being longer! THIS IS ALL BILLY JOELS FAULT!!
To me, these were the best things about the 90s... TV shows like The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Beavis and Butt-Head (which I was told I was too young for), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers (Mighty Morphin to in Space), VR Troopers, Masked Rider, Beetle Borgs, Rugrats, Ren & Stimpy & Doug. Movies like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the first 2 movies at least), both Power Rangers movies, both Homeward Bound movies, Aladdin, The Lion King, Toy Story, George of the Jungle, Kindergarten Cop, Jingle All The Way, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Wayne's World 1 & 2, Mortal Kombat & Independence Day. Video games like Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, the Donkey Kong Country trilogy, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 16 bit games, Street Fighter II, Killer Instinct 1 & 2 & Mortal Kombats 1, II, 3 (including Ultimate 3 & Trilogy) & 4. People arguing over which console was better between Super Nintendo & Sega Genesis & also which hand-held was better between Game Boy & Game Gear. So yeah, you were either Team Nintendo or Team Sega back then. Gathering as a family in the living room a little bit before 8:00pm on either Sunday night or Thursday night to watch the newest episode of The Simpsons. Playing outside until it was too dark to see anymore. Coming home from school & getting up early on Saturday morning to watch kids shows. Getting to have lunch or dinner at McDonald's or Burger King (I enjoyed those more back then). Video tape & video game rental stores. The play area at McDonald's (well, certain ones anyway).

@@TheLayman Well had to do with what you could, so for what it is. I can take it.
There is no way this doesn’t blow up. I’m sharing it with all my buddies who are also Billy Joel Fans lol
Where do all these billy Joel fans hang out and can I come too?
@@TheLayman At some random rugby team in Wisconsin and of course! Lol
Two years later any video I make can beat the view count
DX was my favorite team. It was RAW 1000 because I started watching wrestling in 2005 after DX broke up.

@@TheLayman or (if it's referencing Star Wars) may the algorithm be with you!

Sounds like a good time.

This brings back a lot of memories
Let them flow
Power Rangers, Married with Children, Captain Planet, Blossom, Smells like Teen Spirit and the list goes on and on
Awesome video
Thanks, Lauren!
It was all about the 90's with no mention of River Phoenix, Brandon Lee, or Kurt Cobain?
I never don't want We Didn't Start the Fire parodies.
even though I wasn't your typical 90s kid (born in 1985, but grew up in the 90s) I actually do like this song. well done
Should've included Kath Soucie and Tress Macneille, 'cause they dominated that decade with their voices.
I love it so much. Everquest 🤣
Never forget EVERQUEST!
Theirs your 100th like
This warms my tiny heart. Thank you.
Very cool!! Are the lyrics posted anywhere?
Great question! There wasn't, but I added them to the description. Thanks for asking (and for watching).
@@TheLayman thank you so much :D !
This brings back nothing for me because the 90s were a very bad time for the place my family lived in
