The next video I upload is gonna be of my diesel Sears project but the next time you see this QT 16 I'm probably gonna be mowing with it. Thanks for watching
Thank you for the video. I have a QT16 from when I was young. It sat outside for many years :( so now I will be restoring it. I recently got a Bolens 1669 (a 1994 version of the QT16) because I LOVED my original QT16. My QT16 has an Onan 18hp. I am looking forward to getting it running and restored, meanwhile loving the Bopens 1669!! I honestly say to everyone that these were one of the best mowers ever made. The deck lift is 2nd to none. The hydrostatic trans is awesome and not common. If I had know there are only a few mowers similar to this setup, I would have repaired mine immediately. But thats what I'm doing now...along with a full restoration (repainting, and replacing a few needed parts - NOS deck wheels and such).
Is that the SAME Transaxle that is a FF20? Do you have the link (as a PDF) for it available? I'm having problems with my Hydraulic Setup not wanting to work...😿 Take care, 🤓 -Thomas Port Orchard, Washington (Just West of Seattle)
Man! I learn something everytime I watch, looking forward to the next video

Glad to hear a fellow garden tractor collector is keeping these old machines alive! Best of luck with your project and have fun. Thanks for watching!
Nice one! The sputter might be the float height
