Thank you for sharing how to make these sweet little origami wallets. I think I will be able to make one of these. Finally! An origami project that I can probably actually do! Even after watching your video showing how to make the beautiful origami dresses not once, but at least six times if not more, I was still unable to make it. I tried multiple times. Sigh. That is why I am so happy to see this video, Gi. ♥️

Oh my goodness, these are so cute! And perfect for party favors for my granddaughters birthday. I'm going to make one for each of the girls and put them in the goody bags. (Where did this goodie bag thing start anyway? We never had goody bags at the parties I used to go to lol)
My granddaughter doesn't know it yet but she's getting a little instant camera and I specifically bought a couple packs of film just for the sleepover, because I know they are going to go through it 😉. They can use these little "mini pocket journals" to write notes to each other, and put the pictures they take in the pockets. All of their party memories in one easy little booklet... Thank you so much for the idea!

i made one of these a few years ago. Well i think its the same folding technique. I used wrapping paper and made it with several pages in it. It was challenging and it took like 4 tries to get all the folds to meet up, but it was really cool when done! I gave it in a signature swap. Every now and then i come across the fails in my stash. lol.
Eeek, just played along whilst watching with a 6x6" piece of scrapbook paper and did it first time! (even the most simplest ones take me a couple of attempts usually lol) so I am really excited and eager to give this a go with a whole heap of 12x12" scrapbook paper pads I have and have no idea what to do with!!

Hi Rita, I have use embroidery thread on these and in my sewing machine I use cotton thread. My bigger journal I will use wax thread. Hope you are well, big Hugs Gi x
Are the butterflies from the pink or blue kit?? They're gorgeous. I never think to fussy cut from actual pages. Love this Gi. Beautiful as always.
