Thanks for sharing the video Joey. Hope Will's wedding goes off without a hitch for him. Tell him congratulations from me. Ole super A did good. I'll try to call you next week. Y'all take care.
Hey Joey it was good to see the tractor actually do something other than run the finish mower. Tell Sammy now is the perfect time to drive the tractor, if he rides the clutch it’s not the end of the world. You are changing it out this winter anyway. I hope it’s just the disc, but probably needs a pressure plate as well? Seemed to hog fine. Good luck tomorrow. Give Will and Megan my best. Stan here.
Things are looking good. Nice to see the new tractor earning it keep. Hope you and the wife have a chance to catch your breath after this weekend. Blessings to everyone.
Bushhog and Super A doing a great job. Looking forward to seeing Sammy drive it. Now that I have honey bees, I try to leave more of the fall blooming weeds for winter stores in the hive.
You are so right to cultivate and never spray. Any ground that doesn't have weeds would scare me into not eating any crops out of. Love the channel, new ideas each video and you give out good ideas with each project.
Hey Joey and Family! Looking forward to seeing some video from Plow Day. That field you were bushhogging around looks ideal for a nice corn crop. Blessings!
Mr joe love it one these days you gonna make a video with both tractors working at the same time like will or Sammy operating one plowing while you follow with disc !!!
Love watching the Super A in action. I do my best thinking while bush hogging. Won’t miss the live this Monday night. Hope Will’s wedding was wonderful. God Bless!
You are right on the weeds, gonna have to deal with them weeds for ever. Even conventional guys that spray every year have to spray every year. Great video buddy thanks for sharing.
I love that pull type bush hog Joey and in one respect, it works better on the Super A in that the drive shaft can't hit the fast hitch uprights when you're turning. The Bog harrow did an excellent job on those weeds. It put practically all of them under the ground.
She's running good. I have finished making your gift, which I see you still need, I just haven't had a chance to get it shipped yet. Just want you to know I haven't forgotten it. Thanks, Joey and crew!
Looking forward to maybe seeing the Super A next weekend. Planning on doing a bit of maintenance on it this weekend. Hasn’t been leaking any fluids here lately, must be low 🤣
Yea those older tractors the switch has to be in the on position to charge. I remember reading about those type sytems while reading on the cub forums.
This Super A is an early one 1948, 1949, or early 1950 with a Delco third brush generator. The light switch is 4 position: Low charge, high charge, dim and bright. The field wire is hooked to the light switch, and when the switch is on low charge, the field wire goes through a resistor. If the resistor is wrecked, or removed completely, you have to move the switch to the next setting for the so the generator will charge. On high charge, the lights will not come on but the generator will be charging.
The looks like a cutout charging system with a four position switch with low charge position and next position is the high charge position . With the lights in the last two notches. I have two super a's one with the cutout charging and one where regulator controls the charge. I like the cutout system i don't have the trouble with not charging .
If a battery is completely dead these new electronic chargers won’t recognize them. You have to use an old school charger to get them started with some voltage, then you can switch to the new one
Hey Wave They took and were beautiful but one thunderstorm got one and then another about a month later. I just cut them back to keep that from happening to the rest.
Thats why your bush hog blades should be not sharp there supposed to shatter the stump of the brush/trees. I have cut many trees sweethum and pine as big as my wrist. I haven't really ever seen anything after that i am too worried about putting theough the tire.
Sharp looking super A , sounds good too.
Thank You Bill

Hi Joey , looks like that old super A is earning its keep. I like that old bush hog. Thanks for sharing. Have a good weekend. 😎😎👍
Hey Tommy
Bro Scott gave me that couple years ago.

Hey Stan
I defiantly will give them your best. Ill replace it all just because im there and the tractor is split anyway.
Things are looking good. Nice to see the new tractor earning it keep.
Hope you and the wife have a chance to catch your breath after this weekend. Blessings to everyone.
Thank you Jack
We just got back from rehearsal dinner. Big day tomorrow.
You've got the field looking alot better. Best Wishes for tomorrow!!
Thanks Johnny Big day for William and Megan for sure.
Bushhog and Super A doing a great job. Looking forward to seeing Sammy drive it.
Now that I have honey bees, I try to leave more of the fall blooming weeds for winter stores in the hive.
I tried to get him to practice driving some when we got back home but he wants to wait till I get everything fixed up.
You are so right to cultivate and never spray. Any ground that doesn't have weeds would scare me into not eating any crops out of. Love the channel, new ideas each video and you give out good ideas with each project.
Thank you Dennis I’m like you that spray residue goes somewhere.
That is the coolest setup I have seen in a while.
Always a great day with you in it Joey ! 🤗

Hey Torri
It will make a nice backup field if we run out of field for plow day.
Mr joe love it one these days you gonna make a video with both tractors working at the same time like will or Sammy operating one plowing while you follow with disc !!!
Yes sir been hope to be doing that this spring.
Love watching the Super A in action. I do my best thinking while bush hogging. Won’t miss the live this Monday night. Hope Will’s wedding was wonderful. God Bless!
Hey Paul
Just got back from wedding rehearsal. Big day tomorrow.

Best I can do is stay on top of the cultivating.
@@Jtwes that's all we can do
Worked good together. Enjoyed watching!
Thanks to you . Hope the Gleaner is coming along nicely.

Hey Mark
It did an excellent job . I was a little worried about no protection from that drive shaft. Lol
@@Jtwes I remember you couldn't raise the back lift all the way up or the drive shaft would hit the cross bar on the fast hitch.
She's running good. I have finished making your gift, which I see you still need, I just haven't had a chance to get it shipped yet. Just want you to know I haven't forgotten it. Thanks, Joey and crew!
I wasn’t even worried . Can’t wait to see it.
The Super A sure did a good job. I would really like one as I have a 5' belly mower that would work with one.
Looking forward to maybe seeing the Super A next weekend. Planning on doing a bit of maintenance on it this weekend. Hasn’t been leaking any fluids here lately, must be low 🤣
I know how you feel on that one. That’s when I start to check my fluid.
The old Farmalls had turn light switch one notch to charg
Hey James
Thank You sir I did not know that.
Yea those older tractors the switch has to be in the on position to charge. I remember reading about those type sytems while reading on the cub forums.
That’s good info cause I had done figured I was going to have to do wiring fix.

Good insight I have to research that a little more.

I mention that stuff on videos because I’ve always said I have some of the smartest subscribers.
If a battery is completely dead these new electronic chargers won’t recognize them. You have to use an old school charger to get them started with some voltage, then you can switch to the new one
I figured it must been something of that sort. Quite aggravating sometimes. Lol
Why isn’t Sammy running is tractor ??
It’s not quite ready for him yet. He wants me to get the clutch right before he uses it.
Interesting that two graphs took and 2 did not on the tree.
Hey Wave
They took and were beautiful but one thunderstorm got one and then another about a month later. I just cut them back to keep that from happening to the rest.
Was this supposed to be a live that you just taped and released today🤔🤷🏻♂️
No it was meant for video. I just mentioned I was doing a live later that evening.
Thats why your bush hog blades should be not sharp there supposed to shatter the stump of the brush/trees. I have cut many trees sweethum and pine as big as my wrist. I haven't really ever seen anything after that i am too worried about putting theough the tire.
Yeah I know but I still am not going to risk it when I can tear it up with that bog.
Melt wax into that piece it will eat the rust old timer trick
Sounds like a good ideal.
plowed allot tobacco and Cotten from sun up to sun down from 10years old to 18years old then join the army
Hey Robert
I know it was hard work but good times for sure.
