Thank you so much for this amazing channel. You are doing amazing work. The IEM market has become flooded with hundreds of new brands and models. The affordable IEM field has become so confusing that it is hard to follow, and you are making some order in that chaos. Sound is subjective, and there is no amount of dry data like khz, ohm, number of drivers, etc. that will tell me how an IEM or a dongle DAC will sound like, you succeed in reviewing that right way where a lot of other TH-camrs have failed. Thank You!

Should audio reviewers include the frequencies that theyre able to hear up too? Maybe some iems could be more sibilant and harsh in the upper freqencies for a person that can hear those higher frequencies 🤔
I feel like audio reviewers should include their own hearing data and preferences for sound so that viewers can get an even better grasp of what will work with them or not 😊 like sort of an introduction video specifically for this data or a descriptipn in their channel bio

I bought the MP145 but sent them back after comparing to the Pula 02. The Pulas are not on this list but I really think they deserve a review as they will be ranked higher than theMP 145s
I see few moondrop iem but no the most famous like moondrop kato
I wanna see the kato and aria 2 in the your list
When Kato and Aria 2 was released, I was less inclined to try the two of them because the tuning for both were designated for those who love dense subbass with Harman sound curve (generally both Bass heavy), I did tried Kato briefly and my assumption was correct.

I love the deep bass, to the most low frequency like 5hz so.. but at the same time i want all the details from the other frequencies. What iem from your list have that?
@@bernaquinonezreveles2952 For the type of bass you're talking about, the amp has to be considered as well. Just like in a full size system, the speakers and amp combined will dictate bass performance. Given your description, chances are you would prefer something like a Bryston headphone amp, over something tube, such as Felix.

Yes, the size is fairly on the smaller side of things especially compared to many other competitors
7HZ SONUS strangely forgetten?..
having other much more expensive headphones, I notice that I listen to them more often than others. thanks to one feature - they are surprisingly "HONEST" - that is, they have the necessary potential, but show it at the required level - for guaranteed enjoyment of music. a clear confirmation is that when listening to compositions of various genres, most immediately fall into the "favorites" (and with other iems - they are immediately removed from there;)
Never tried 7Hz Sonus yet so it is not listed, as mentioned in this video, I only list whichever IEMs I have personally tried and tested, if not there then I haven't tried them, thanks

In the video of Rose Technics Light Year Star City 5 Pro it was received the impressive score of 88/100 so I was thinking on getting them, and here it's only 59/100, so I'm not sure now.
Q5:Do you have any recommendation for cheap running compatible (Will not die from sweat, and easier to notice noise from outside)?

Thanks for the list, easier to compare. However I do notice and have a feeling that sc5p might be underrated.
KZ ZVX is very high on your list and very tempting to buy. But recently I read on another website that they changed their drivers. Maybe it's worth to take a look on this matter?
I have no idea if they changed the drivers afterwards, but the one I had was really impressive as noted in my review of it. Perhaps I should get a latest unit and find out for myself
@@donglemadness Consider ranking EDX Pro as well.. that one is for sure has been changed to Super Linear dynamic driver.
The price on Sh0p33 is just above Rm10.
Could probably the best ultra budget IEM no contest.
Your claim could probably true.
However as a person who has quite a few ZVXs in my collection, the sound production (based on my common people's ear - non audiophile) is at least on par if not better.
i suggest to get yourself EDX Pro as well.
On A-E, they are both sold for under $10.
Be reminded you will be disappointed by the packaging of ZVX, i mean the eartips.
My Ranking List consists 25 IEMs as of now. The bell curve is prominent. Will reach 100 mid next year I guess
Just happened to stumble across your channel today, as I was comparing a few iems, notably, Artti T10, Letshuoer S12, KZ PR1 PR2 PR3, Moondrop May & CCA PL13... Unlike all the rest of the youtube reviews, it's quite fascinating to see a score for various aspects of an IEM.
It would be quite interesting to see where CCA PL 13 (one of most affordable mag planar iem in India) would fare in your iEM ranking upcoming reviews.

What is the best DAC/Ampli for Hidizs MP145?
Lots to choose from. Anything from HIBY FC6 to Questyle M12i to Aune Yuki to EPZ TP50 and now also ONIX Alpha, MP145 is a versatile IEM so it will literally sound great with any partners that are equally great
Is the Tangzu Xuan NV good for gaming?
It's good for gaming as well

Thanks, you are describing the legendary Tanchjim ZERO, for an illegally cheap price you get all those things and you should try it. If you like it then you can look forward to getting either Final Audio A5000 or Hidizs MP145/MP143. There's also DUNU Titan S2 and Rose Technics Star City 5 Pro

Only you can answer that, it's your money and how you spend it is up to you. My job is to share insights on the items I reviewed and hopefully my audiences would be able to make decisions based on their own preferences, learning the pro and cons of what I reviewed

Andy, what cable do u use for the ER2XR? Need something with angled connector
I still use the stock ER2XR cable and sometimes swap it with ER4SR cable, but now mostly ER2XR own cable which I already converted to 4.4mm/3.5mm modular plug. I need my ER2XR in stock trim because I use it extensively for dongles testing. It is not easy to find a good angled MMCX for Etys due to the lock mechanism on the socket

Great list, can't wait to see more IEMs added (like the kiwi ears cadenza and the artti series). My suggestion is to write in the first line from the C cell a disclaimer like "all IEMs were reviewed compared to my favorite model the Shure KSE1500" just to make ultra clear and reduce the risk of people taking this list out of context
Also, how did you test soundstage? With music only? I feel like the same IEM can offer different soundstage experience in video games compared to music (even the same IEM can have widely different soundstage experience between different games)
edit: would be interesting to see future videos talking about different eartips and the top 5 cost benefit IEMs for each price segment

Thank you Andy, this is extremely helpful, and your rating table is extremely well-organised and easy to read compared to many other reviewers'. I've some suggestions: a column for optional important remarks that can't be expressed through the number rating, and also another column for optional 'value rating' like crinacle's.

For Subbass focus, KZ Castor of course, and for Midbass focus, ZSN Pro2 or DQ6S HBB, DF-i is tuned to be less bassy
