- 1 million subscribers and I'll attempt to clear my entire house! There were so many things that went into the house jump project. So many different approaches, attempts, tow ins, ideas, builds, what mountain bike to ride and of course the final shots of jumping the house. This is the story of me deciding to jump over my house and all the steps, fails and success that happened. What MTB project should I try next?

it seemed like the peacock was responding to the whizz of either the drone shooting past and/or the buzz of the tyres up the take-off

Next: "I Hipped my house". You should build a jump from where your 1st take off is into where you have the flat drop off, land on one side of the roof and then jump over the other side like a spine jump :D

Gonna post an extra comment and repeat me self because this is siiick and can't wait to see you clear the house. That tyre blowout at 60km/h was bloody gnarly, nice riding thou to pull it all off.
Clothing has a decent impact on your aero, le tour de france riders don't wear lycra and funny shaped helments because they like the tight looks, its because at the speeds they ride at (as fast as what you were doing when they're sprinting down hill) aerodynamics become a huuuge factor. It's also why they make themselves as small as possible.
Look at NASA's drag equation, which is something along the lines of D = Cd x r x V²/2 x A
Note V², V is velocity and unlike any other parameter in the formula, it's squared (multiplied by itself), and even thou that is then divided by 2, it being multiplied by itself makes a huge number
Also how you observed the air density, that's 'r' in that formula
Cd = Drag Coefficient, which is how well you slip through the air
A = your surface area that you're presenting to the wind. This is the bit where the aero riders turn themselves into a tiny little ball to minimise their cross sectional area
Don't need to be a scientist nor an engineer (I'm neither) but knowing a little bit about the physics in it can be a huge help. Hope this helps and good luck with clearing the entire house 😁

And to those who Say you didn't jump over the house more on to it. It's still Over the house as Matt did jump over the pitch of the roof. It might not of cleared the house but it's still none the less over. "Above or higher than something else, sometimes so that one thing covers the other; above: The sign over the door said "Exit"."

I'm the exact same way with visualizing spots everywhere I go, for me it is snowboarding tho. I would even put together an entire video part in my head to a song I'm listening to that I like. I can never turn that part of my brain off even now that I'm 34. When you grow up doing a creative sport like snowboarding, biking or skating it is something you can't really explain to people. The day I stop subconsciously seeing spots everywhere will be a sad day.
